(09-24-2016 09:22 PM)itsawesome Wrote: [ -> ]Hi,

Few hours back I purchased reseller account from u i.e. x3host.com.
It worked totally fine for few hours but after that it is down for more 2 hours (still down at time of posting this post)

For checking uptime of ur hosting, i registered account with "host-tracker(dot)com" and found that x3host.com has 100% uptime.

I was confused. After that I open my Firefox browser and used VPN for changing my IP address.
After changing IP address, I was able to access x3host.com and my hosted sites.

I was SURPRISED !!!

Video proof- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNJZGLExI-k

I am new to hosting business.
My questions -
1. Why is it happening?
2. Is my IP got banned or something?
3. How to fix this issue?

Update-

OP has solved my problem. Now I can easily browse x3host.com and my hosted websites.

Thanks a lot !!

X3Host may be still relatively new and working things out, but I'm not the least bit sorry I went with them. Because not only did it save me a ton of money, I'm getting way better support than I ever got with anyone.

I came to them with a fair amount of baggage, too - having had 1and1.com as the previous people I did business with. Here's how 1and1 operates:

I had several domains registered with them. Typically I will register a domain name, try out my idea and, if it goes well I keep the site going. If not, I let it go and don't renew the name. And, I gotta admit, sometimes that happened because I never really attempted to do what I intended with a particular name. At any rate, I always have had auto renew turned off for the first year, and would turn it back on only if I decided that it was going well and decided to keep it...

About 7 or 8 months ago I began to have the experience where a domain name was set to expire, and I would receive notice from 1and1 saying it was going to expire, but then a day before it was set to expire/renew, I'd get a message from them saying that the money for the renewal was being deducted from my account. I contacted them the first couple of times via phone, but the third time it happened I sent them an email because I didn't feel like sitting on hold for close to an hour again.

I received an email reply stating that the problem was a glitch in their system, and it was being addressed. At the time, I accepted that explanation and let it go. But then another three months later, it happened again...

This time I didn't believe for one second that it was some arbitrary glitch. It was obvious fraud. I researched the matter and confirmed my suspicions - this is their standard modus operandi. And they've done it to several people.

And then there was the hanging on to domain names that you try to transfer to another provider. I decided that I did not want to do business with 1and1 ever again (there were some other things that happened as well, but I won't get into the whole thing here). And I attempted to transfer names that I intended to keep. In the end, I transfered only one. There were others that I lost - one of which I have had for several years. It's a real shame that I'm losing it now.

The folks at X3host support helped me through that, as well as another issue I was having trouble with a domain once on 1and1's servers. I found the support team at X3host to be the polar opposite of 1and1's support. Whereas 1and1 was always slow to respond and, in many cases, never did respond to support requests, X3host always responded quickly, and stuck in there until the problem was resolved.

1and1's tech team's overplay of the "dumb card" was exhausting. In other words, it was like, "We're not screwing you - we're just inept." But the X3host people have done nothing to instill me with anything other than confidence. I'm very happy with them.
