So the incident was most of a year ago, and went on for 6+ months...wow.

My only exposures to VPS hosting just yet are with free and very low cost accounts which I am using for learning that realm - very slowly and totally at my own paces - but still, if a service is really bad for weeks at the start, it is usually likely that getting a refund ASAP is the best choice.

I would also make a guess based upon your info that back then, this provider had outsourced 'support' only to find that was a very bad idea, or, failing that - had some very bad support staff who brushed off clients.

It seems only fair to say that within the time since your problems with this provider that they have likely struggled their way into better services, or at least that such is possible, yes ??

My response to all the above is to tell those who had poor services during such a struggle to ask the provider for compensation WITHIN their services if a refund will not be given;
In one instance with a struggling service I did that and they tacked on a whole free year in service credit - then things got MUCH better and I am still with them.

In the present moment my best provider that I've been with for years is throwing 403 errors on several domains of my own and those of friends whom I share it with - really - right this very minute.
My monitoring showed it, I double-checked it, and have made a ticket.

Am I all in a yank about this ??
Nope. Why ??
They are in a very different time zone - and when they wake up (tonight, by my clocks here...), I know they'll unblock those domains quickly.

Perfect service would be great in anything - but is not realistic to expect;
~90% is very good; any higher reliability is simply amazing.
Providers say they promise 99% all the time, but they know that this is hard to prove as well as unlikely to be delivered.

A great sales pitch though, ain't it ?!?

The OP has not paid me anything in any form or by any means; I am not affiliated with these services, I am just a user and have paid the OP for his services - have never met him or her, and I am testing these services for myself.

If the verbiage/grammar of this reply is any indicator whatsoever, it seems likely that this is yet another clueless end user who cannot be bothered to learn how to do or use technical things - but that's just a guess from the badly made verbal abuse which seems to have just been aimed directly at me here.

Truth is:
I am monitoring this thread in hopes some happy, current users of this service will show themselves here - but thus far only those who seem like incompetents and/or whiners have shown up to reply.

Must be loads of fun to tear down the reputations of others when folks are having bad times in their own lives ??
(But again, just guessing, as this is NOT my sentiment.)

Just now visited their main site, client area, WHM, cPanel, both the domains I have hosted there, edited a page in the live editor and all appears to be fine and quite zippy in my reseller hosting with the OP.

If you are trying to login to cpanel through one of your domains with us, Then you might have seen this message

" YOUR CONNECTION IS NOT SECURE "

This message is popular with cpanel servers every where:

This is a known message appears on firefox or google chrome if the website or the ip you are visiting doesn't have a valid SSL.

You need to install ssl within your domain name,

We have a tutorial on our knowledge base of how to install ssl ,

Also we have an auto ssl with cpanel accounts, You don't even need to install ssl , Because it's installed by default on all domain names.

Our servers are secured very well,

We have cloudlinux + CageFS + Important modules to secure the linux servers. Our technical staff did the job right.

Also We have a DDOS-Protection

Even the new clients get a free ssl on their websites ( Subdomains and domain names )

I don't want to argue with you but 5 days to answer your tickets is very long time !

I can see most of your tickets has an instant answer , Our staff helped you more than one time to get everything fixed maybe in one hour , 3 hours, 5 hours . And only one ticket was answered and the staff informed you that they are contacting cpanel.net to fix this issues from their side! we answered again after 5 days of our previous answer. That's because there was a delay from the cpanel.net side not us.

I'm sure the server was very stable it was hosted on our best location In Arizona, Phoenix.

The only issue there was with the license itself! I couldn't believe that the new hosting said that. ( As you were hosted on one of our best location also the server specs was very great )

I think you was have a vps with 16 GB Ram with unlimited bandwidth and about 1TB Disk space.

I'll upload a 100mb.bin file to test the server speed now.

please stop lying!!!! if you told the truth people would have more respect for you. people are angry with you because it is always somebody else's fault never yours, you told many lies and then your support stopped answering and it was 5 days but again you lie. you took everybody's money and gave a rubbish service. yes i was always polite and understanding and gave you chances to get things right. you have treated the PEOPLE on BBHF very badly and most people lost their money but you think you can make us look like we tell the lies and we are out to make you look bad!!!! there is YOU verses possibly 100's of us and we are all saying the same, the odd complaint is acceptable because you can't please everybody all the time but everybody complaining would suggest to any intelligent person who is telling lies!!!! i am not a idiot or out to ruin you i do not need to lie and i know for a fact how you have behaved to me and many other's. the fact you took many peoples money and kept it when you KNOW what kind of service you gave and say we are all wrong and only you tell the truth is beyond words. i hope your services has improved and your customers are very happy now and perhaps now you should address what you have done to past clients who gave you their hard earned money and was left with nothing then maybe there would be no need for this thread but i know you will not do this so don't be surprised that people will keep complaining to warn others but the biggest insult is that you try to make us the liars when you are the only person who has took money and not provided what we all paid for. it is only 3 months since i had no choice but to move to new hosting so i too would like to hear from happy customer's you have now i don't want to see screen shots ect we know how they can be changed we all want to hear real live people who are using your services members of BBHF who are happy who we can confirm with that everything is great now. now is the time to stop treating us like idiots and if you have 1k very happy users i'm very sure they won't mind saying how good the hosting and services are because they will be happy to support you. so now it is up to you to show us how everything is now good and how everything has changed for the better this is the way forward for you to show what you are saying then people will have a more clear view of whether to use your services. i look forward to the responses from happy customers

i found your remark "incompetents and/or whiners" offensive and have no fun in tearing down people like you said so i suggest you keep those remarks for the people who deserve it and not the majority of us who lost money through no fault of our own. i really hope it goes well for you and i am giving him chance to show us his happy users and that everything has changed for the better i can't be more fair than that
