nevermind, here is the instruction. its working for me. no stupid hosts file fixes.
1. downgrad your SEO PowerSuite to free and remove the hosts-file redirection
2. Load all updates
3. setup privoxy
4. go to the privoxy install dir and search for the file user.action (for me it is located in C:\Program Files\Privoxy)
5. Add this code to the bottom of the file:

6. in your tool (eg. ranktracker) go to proxy settings and set as IP: 127.0.0.1 and port is 8118 (standard port which privoxy runs)
And it works.
all request to the link assistant server will now bring up an empty page for every tool which is specified to use this proxy (u can test in firefox, set there the proxy to 127.0.0.1:8118).

It worked as far as registration is concerned but displaying error of connection...cannot connect to the internet or check your server settings...Please help me in solving this issue....

For updating signatures go to the registration window where you enter name and serial. clear both fields. press ok. you should get a message that you downgraded to the FREE VERSION.
Now go to proxy settings. untick the checkbox (something like "use this proxy"). click ok and close the app.
restart the app and it will download the newest signatures.
now enable the proxy
at first, before registering with the serial. than register with the serial. you are done.

Unfortunately for the other tools, like Linkassistant and SEOspy the license keys generated by the Keygen are not accepted.
Website Auditor is the only one the Keygen worked for me. Anyone having a working key for these 2 apps?
