thanx in advance
hi Quasar
can you provide me with the link
thank you
rep you, you are my hero
Thanks guys!

ALL PMs or Emails have been sent. Let me know if you did not get your PM.

Here is another calculator for Ebay fees that I began using much more in December. It is easier and clearer to use. The advantage to using this one is you can do "what-if" analyses and immediately see whether items will be profitable or not. And it is not quite as frantic a GUI as the one the author and I were using.

You can change any variable to determine selling price, shipping, how much you should pay for items, etc.

I like it!

Here it is:
Magic Button :
Code:
http://www.newlifeauctions.com/calc.html

It is, of course, FREE. BUT if you use it a lot, hit the PayPal Donate button and send the developer $2 to $5 to keep it updated. Little tools like this that save time are d*mn near priceless.

Enjoy!
Once again, a big thank you goes out to Quasar for sending out this information to so many people. It is very generous of you to take the time out of your day to share your expertise and knowledge to help others and to only ask for some +rep in return. So many in the IM game are only out for themselves and don't care about helping others. It is quite refreshing to see someone who is doing the complete opposite.

Thank You Very Much
Hey Quasar, I didn't get the PM.

One question though: If I were to set-up a new sellers account and a new PayPal account, would I still need to pay for my customers item using my own money? (Since you can't get access to the customers payment until they claim delivery or until 21 days have passed)

You are welcome and Thanks WallyTheFourth!

I was beginning to wonder if anyone noticed I gave up my weekend and about 42 out of the last 48 hours to provide this stuff to you guys.

But the NFL is about to start and not much else will exist today except for NE vs. Denver and San Fran vs. Seattle.

21st century gladiatorial contests - if you're alive - you gotta love it!

Like I said, I believe in karma and I love working hard - it gives me part of my edge.

Thanks again for noticing!

@loder69 - please send me an email I can sent it to - I have sent it to you twice already.

I believe this is a glitch in the PM system, since several people have not received it via PM.

Thanks guys!

A: Yes you will have to cover the purchase IF you have a new Ebay or PayPal account. You are on probation (even though they don't use that word) until they see you conducting business on THEIR terms.

Tip to expedite it:

If you are selling items you stock: ALWAYS buy your postage through Ebay and print the shipping labels for the items using them. Delivery Confirmation costs you 20 cents extra - and you, the customer, and most importantly - Ebay knows exactly when it gets delivered.

If you are doing the arbitrage model: Always enter a tracking number provided you by Amazon into the field provided on the sales summary in the MY EBAY dashboard. The allows everyone to see the shipment is legit and can again know when it is delivered.

They may tell you to get your funds, the customer must leave feedback first or 21-days MUST pass. This is one of many reasons you DO NOT leave feedback until they have left it for you.

Some will still move slowly. I have another tactic for this if you find you need it.

It sucks, but Ebay and PayPal are risk averse - they have been burned lots of times. Looking at it from their perspective, you are high risk.

Again, It sucks but this is the way it is. According to ANY merchant services company, if you sell anything online, you are classified as a Category 3 merchant - high risk. This puts you on the same level as topless bars.
