It's nice to believe in the good will of your fellow man/woman and peace on Earth, etc., but history shows it's not very prudent or realistic given human history's belligerent past. Not saying you should change your beliefs, I believe everyone has a right to believe anything they want, if you want to believe in the good will of all men, then more power to you....I just am more of a "Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far." - Theodore Roosevelt, kind of guy.

As for Science, I too believe in "proven" science (knowing that science is constantly in flux and being updated with new theories that may or may not disprove once established theories) but also believe science must rely on facts, reliable data, peer reviews and repeatable observations/experiments for it to become established science and not just subjective opinions. (regardless of how many scientists might believe or not believe an unproven theory). Your Ronald Reagan quote seems appropriate here: Trust but Verify.

I agree with you about education, especially history and human nature, they should be used to form decisions (especially scientific and political) while remembering this quote from Albert Einstein: “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” (for example: Socialism/Communism.....history shows this to be a really, really, really bad idea, no matter what form it takes (fascism, progressivism, marxism, etc.), yet there are people today that still try to push these idea's (absolute Insanity)

Indeed - VERY strange. The people that I know that had covid were not vaccinated.
And the hospitals are not crowded now, as they were before.
Bit if we talk about people that I don't know in person, there was indeed some vaccinated people that died by covid.
One famous (and old) brazilian singer died, even after the second shot.
However, we know that he got sick a few days after the second shot - in theory, there was not enought time to fully activate the immune systems.
The second point: there are 4 different vaccines being used in Brazil, but he was vaccinated with the only one available at that time.
But even this less efficent vaccine reduced drastically the cases in one city choosen for real life tests.
Vaccines are not perfect, but they work well, in spite of some exceptions
Considering that hospitals are not so crowded as before the vaccine, my bet is on vaccines - not in euthanasy theories.

There's something curious about numbers: people seem to believe them, and don't stop to think how they can be manipulated. "Statistics Prove: Statistics Prove Nothing".
I showed that the numbers in the picture comparing deaths by covid versus deaths being hit by an asteroid is a fallacy. It was not something personal, but simthnowt's reaction was.

Now, according to him, there are "good" members here (that agree with him), and not so good members (or "lammers") that don't agree with him.
Previously he said "I am endlessly shocked at the lack of depth which has folks so fooled". It seems that he was contamined by this lack of depth virus, to start posting fallacies to reinforce the superiority of his POV.
He said "There is NO 'pandemic'. YES - people are dying and that is nothing new, and.."
What???? Nothing new? Why the hospitals all over the world were suddenly crowded by sick persons? Why people started to die in great number, if there is not a cause? Why WHO has declared that we are in a pandemic?

has passed through pretty much everyone by now and they have antibodies.
The virus has also mutated into a less dangerous strain.

Some very personal info to start with:
I'm in my mid-60s, have worked through respiratory challenges for ~60 years, and have been amongst crowds of people, quite regularly when out getting our provisions for all of the almost 2 years of this insanity WITHOUT ever putting any sort of muzzle upon my face, and...
Not even a sniffle for me or my asthmatic partner the WHOLE time, despite BOTH of us being in the so-called 'highest risk group'.

AND=>
She worked 12 hour days in a direct care position with stressed out, sick children, but also - not so much as a sniffle for her this WHOLE time.

Given how the hypnotized folks INSIST that the easter bunny virus is so 'CONTAGIOUS' and 'DANGEROUS' - how can it be that we are healthy and it has missed us BOTH 100% ?!?

As to the 'medical industry':
Even Pasteur finally admitted that his own 'germ theory' is hogwash, and that has been proven as well as many current doctors agreeing that 'contagion' is NOT about 'germs' at all and mostly does not exist as most folks insist upon it - as in:
We do not 'catch a cold'.

That industry - at least here in the US, has very clearly worded and OFFICIAL 'medical' definitions explaining what a 'vaccine' IS and MUST do - actually check it out for yourself and that will become very clear.
