Kc bar doesn't even show up now

Yes Sachin - I've reinstalled Adobe Air and redid the entire installation/ removed the software - I've also deleted the old hidden files the did a fresh install still no go...etc CCleaner almost everything I can think of but the KC just does not work :( - Everything works except he KC function - Does anyone have the KC working on the 2.4.27 ??

OK it activates and works well, except KC!
It is always "0", I am not sure if the issue is on your side, or the developer has some bugs in it!

It might have to do with adding some websites etc on the hosts file - however if thats the case then that would directly mean our keywords/kc information are being forwarded to the product owners domain.... which ideally should not happen as even I thought the KC calculates directly on my pc and it does not have to forward any KC information to any servers let it be even the original product owner lol..

- Secondary option - It just may be the dev has bugs and still not resolved with the 2.4.27 update...

I updated and still no KC score.

My KC doesn't work either. It just stalls.

I tested on two separate computers. To be honest I am still learning seo, but I am very good at those PC/Computer things, so It will be a lame mistake on my side to leave such a thing in my hosts file!
Anyway thank you for you suggestion, but the KC worked on my main PC before 1 week, so this is definitely not the case here.
I am just wondering - Is the LongTail Team becomes smarter or it has something to do with Sachin's crack technology?
I mean they could follow the way of Seo PowerSuite with some online verification system, that almost constantly checks with their database if you are running the paid Platinum subscription or not!
Crackling LongTail PRO is not a big deal for the developer (I mean they give you a free trial, it doesn't "directly hit" their pocket, it is one time fee), but Platinum is a monthly subscription, so they loose a lot of money...

The .27 update was to try to resolve the KC issue.
It seems that the KC is generated by another API/website to which LTP sends the data to to generate it.

The .27 update was to address that site/API being down or not available. To do this LTP sends the data to a PHP file on the longtailpro.com domain, from where it should be able to detect if the KC service is up or down and address it there, rather than just failing.

So - either the new PHP redirect handler is not working/overloaded, or something else is preventing it from working or accepting our connections.

If I were the author of LTP, I would do some checks too to make sure that only legit versions are being used.

Can anyone confirm if its only the crack version that's having this KC issue?

Does any one have friend that owns a legit LTP Platinum copy, as then we can identify whether its the crack or the security has tightened ?

I've got a legit LTP Platinum version and the Avg KC has been returning 0 for the last few days. It did return results yesterday for about 30 mins, but then went back to zeros. As at this post time, it is still returning zeros for me. I contacted LTP support and their reply was...

"I'm sorry that there is a temporary outage of one of the third party API's since
couple of days. Hence, KC is not working. We've contacted their support
team. They are working on it. Hopefully it will start working again very soon."
