unfamiliar with proxies as I mainly use HMA.

Proxies aren't mandatory to work with TSP! Also as TSP works directly with YouTube/Google, don't use any VPN or if necessary, use any good VPN which google doesn't block.

I am running it on Amazon Web Services EC2 Instance with Windows. Its free for one year and you can connect to it thru remote desktop.
