Definitely yes. You can also check feedback from many past members with their success.
As for clients landing, you will get the proven marketing methods inside, it needs some efforts on your end, but no technical or experience required at all.

There are many variables in terms of web design, it's really hard to give any average price, and it comes down to the actual job requirements. I've sent you pm. As for mobile issue, we make mobile responsive websites for sure, there is no need for redirection. It can be changed on existing sites, or simply create another similar or new mobile responsive sites.

I am thinking of taking the plunge and upgrading to paid membership. I currently sell direct mail services so is it best to create brand new website w/ new domain for your stuff OR is it fine (in a business sense) to add subdomain to my existing site i.e., webdesign.mydomain.com?

Yes, if you already have existing business, I would suggest to set up under a subdomain/subdirectory, so you have more flexible options to choose which is better to use or combine some parts together to showcase to potential customers. It can be implemented that way for sure.
