Why doesn't it work. I have test this on 3 different operating system.

Download Camtasia 9 from techsmith.com

Before installing Camtasia, open up your host registry file and Add the following entries to your hosts file

127.0.0.1 http://www.techsmith.com
127.0.0.1 activation.cloud.techsmith.com
127.0.0.1 oscount.techsmith.com
127.0.0.1 updater.techsmith.com
127.0.0.1 camtasiatudi.techsmith.com
127.0.0.1 tsccloud.cloudapp.net
127.0.0.1 assets.cloud.techsmith.com


Install the application using one of the serial keys provided in the instructions zip file.

If blocking the application in your host file doesn't work, then I would block the Camtasia from accessing the internet through your firewall. I will update the instructions with more details.

If you need help, let me know. What operating system are you using? What's not working? You have to give me more details and not be so vague.. The install isn't that technical.
