If you already have VideoMakerFX v1.1 installed and using xampp, etc just follow the instructions with the new fix.

I haven't used the earlier version, and I don't have xampp.
I haven't changed the hosts file.

I installed the videomakerfx, then copied the crack file to the installation directory.
Gave the login pwd but I get login error.

You no longer need to edit the hosts file.

Yes you need to connect to the internet for VideoMakerFX to work.

Try re-downloading and use recent version of winzip.

MY CASE
I haven't used the earlier version
I don't have xampp.
I haven't changed the hosts file.
i am using win7 PRo clean

STEPS DONE
installed videomakerfx with no error
copied crack to the installation folder
launch videomakerfx with no error
tried to the login using user/pass cited into instructions txt

ISSUE
I get login error

POSSIBLE ISSUES AND SOLUTIONS
1-some zip extractor create a crack file with zero bytes: it must be over 2Mb
2-if the size is correct do NOT mantain the old "Main.swf" file into Installation folder, rewrite it totally., there must be just one of these

Thank you for all of that.

1. I've not seen that unless the download is corrupt.

2. That's what "OVERWRITE" means in the instructions LOL!
When you OVERWRITE a file it replaces the original with the new one.
