I am sticking with the GDPR Fix and GDPR Pro combo for my sites. I like the way the Pro works witht the popup and all and I like the self management of the Fix plugin. I think we're set here guys! Thanks for the Reps everyone... |

FYI - Here's a comment by dev re: issue with using both GDPR Fix + GDPR Pro together: USER says: Uploaded GDRP Pro Helper and received a fatal error notice. I deleted the plugin will try a reinstall. See here: Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wp_gdpr_add_menu() (previously declared in /home4/focuseh7/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpgdpr_g8zuDP/index.php:23) in /home4/focuseh7/public_html/wp-content/plugins/gdrp-pro-helper/index.php on line 26 DEV (Nick Ponte) replies: Do you have wp gdpr fix installed? Try deactivating it. Wp gdpr fix and GDPR Pro helper are the same plugin so you don’t need both active at the same time. Alternatively, both will Work with the same with the GDPR Pro plugin. ******************** THIS NEWBIE IS LEFT WONDER - did GDPR Pro now make it such with their 'helper' that one no longer needs to use both, rather just Pro/Elite + helper combo? Anyone just running Pro/Elite + helper only? vs. Pro/Elite + Fix (with No Helper) ...EVEN THOUGH there is a video in the dashboard (and Vimeo) explaining how to get them to work together for optimal coverage :-S TIA for feedback :-) |

Hey Edu-Bum,
You only need to install the Helper plugin along side of the Pro plugin. You don't need to install Cyril's plugin. It seems like they copied Cyril's and just incorporated it into their Helper plugin. |
