I asked my computer man what he thought about Win 10 and he said right after it came out not to upgrade because of how they are tracking everyone. I followed his advise and I'm using Vista but all works OK. Now I've been seeing posts like the above that others have had the same problem with their privacy compromised. This is why they have been pushing it so strongly. Why give it away when they could have been selling it and make millions like the other OS? Common sense tells you that there must be another motive to giving it away!!!
As I read these posts, it appears as if my computer man was correct
and those with Win 10 are screwed!!

I have uninstalled Camtasia and will go through this whole process again...but has anyone else encountered this?
This fix only seems to last a couple of weeks. Of course it fails just when I need it.
Today my finances are a little better so when they presented me with the $99 purchase option (instead of $299) I jumped on it. Here is that link if you want to get an official copy at 1/3 the price:
it sorta worked, installed fine but when it said taht it couldnt validate my serial it gave me only 5 days instead of the 30 days. weird, never seen that before, anyone else get that message??
