Just find another trick. Follow these steps to use WAC without updating:

1. Block your internet through firewall or switch off


2. Run WAC and wait until its shows server error or somekind of other errors.


3. Don't close WAC


4. Access your internet again or switch ON


5. Click login button of WAC, sometimes its shows server error but try 2-3 times and its works. (Make sure BlackNinjx user and pass was written)


6. Scrape your article, click download button.... that's it

here's a working tips for me with wac v2.84 (cracked by blackninjx) without update to v2.8.5
while we wait for next update ... if there is an update
if you use eset smart security firewall with interactive filtering mode

[hide]1. run wac
2. eset popup outbond traffic to 4.cf.364a.static.theplanet.com, click deny (this is the popup for update wac, this is the only popup you must click deny)
3. wac popup "unable to connect to the remote server" click oke
4. eset popup outbond traffic to f8-www.runhosting.com, check temporarily remember action for the process, then click allow
5. wac windows open and ready to use
6. do step 1 - 4 everytime you use wac[/hide]

perhap you can use the same method for other firewall

Going from 283 to 284 for black to fix was not an overnight job... So hold tight on the 285 update fix!

284 and 283 are working fine, just follow the op instructions and then when u fire it up first time switch our WiFi off enter blacks details wait switch our WiFi back on press login works fine :-)

As for the couple ofbits not working cannot seem to replicate that on this version and the paid versions we have ;-)

Alternatively to make it work without updating error
1. Go to directory where you installed WAC
2. locate updater
3. and delete it(the updater)
4. The u are good to run it...without any error pop up...
