IIRC it's a free plus version.. which means you can download your videos and make them up to 10minutes in length. See here for more info:

Sorry, I've looked at the whole Animoto site, but did not find any info that says Animoto for Education means the user is subscribed under Animoto Plus.
I'm sure it is there somewhere, but I could not find the info.
