I bought this, and here are my honest opinions.
The BSO is delivered as a 41-page main pdf, a resources pdf and a web template that might be useful once you get started. The writing is in good and clear English, and I have to say, the OP is responsive and helpful when asked questions, of which I had several.
IMO there is some significant setting up because you will need to create an asset. Once the asset is working, because of the way it is marketed (the secret sauce) the OP claims it should generate money without the need for driving traffic. I haven't tested the method yet, so have no evidence on that, but could quite believe that the OP may be right. How much you make with this method will likely depend on what kind of asset you create, so $500 per month feels like a bit of a stretch for a total newcomer.
If you've read the thread you'll see there are a number of comments about what is needed to make a success of the method, and IMO you will need to invest additional money to create the asset, on top of the domain and hosting. If you are happy to do this is in a black- or grey-hat way, then the additional outlay will be zero to small (a few $10s) but if you want to do this completely whitehat, then your outlay could be much larger (maybe up to $100 or more). I had several protracted conversations about this with the OP and to his credit he provided some constructive ideas about how minimise outlay.
All in all, an interesting idea that I fully intend to explore: it's given me an idea about a spin that I want to try. As it stands, if you're not comfortable working with web applications (and/or you don't want to spend anything on top) then this may not be for you. But if you're OK with building something (you don't need to be a developer to make this work) and are not in a hurry - then this looks like a good money-making concept that could work, and, after all, it's not a pricey BSO.
TL;DR: I rarely buy BSOs: I don't regret buying this one.
Thank you to the OP for the constructive answers to questions.
