A Song For The Pope + A Valuable Lesson
Today’s post contains a silent but powerful lesson that we often don’t remember.
But is the secret to achieving almost any goal in life...
I am going to explain it to you with a story.
My story.
When I was younger, I attended a Catholic nursery and primary school.
And I was also Catholic at the time.
Actually, I was Catholic for about 11 years before my parents decided to change to a new church.
Anyway, as a Catholic attending a Catholic school, the reverend sisters took it upon themselves to make us better Catholics.
So, everyday, we will recite the Hail Mary several times, read the rosary and do all sorts of Catholic activities.
Just this morning, I remembered one of them.
There is this song known as the “The song for the Pope”
I started singing it this morning and I was surprised that I still remembered most of it.
I was surprised.
This was a song I haven’t sang in 10 years and I remembered almost every word of it.
WHY?
The answer is that - When I was attending that Catholic school, the reverend sisters made us sing that song like 10 times a day.
That is, we repeated it 50 times a week (Monday to Friday)
And guess what?
Our brains got used to it and owned it.
In Napoleon Hill’s book “Think and Grow Rich,” one of the important but complicated chapters is the one he titled Autosuggestion.
According to him, he said you should read a statement about your financial success out loud to yourself every morning and night and keep doing it till you achieve that goal.
I tried it for about 3 days and got tired of it.
And that is the problem with most people.
Unless someone (like those reverend sisters) PUSHES them to do something important, we usually give up easily.
If those reverend sisters didn’t push us to sing that “Pope song” 10 times a day, I am sure we wouldn’t have done it.
This also applies to any skill you are trying to master.
When you show up daily and keep trying it over and over, the result is that you will get better at it.
This consistent daily effort is the secret to achieving almost any goal in life…
I hope you are “getting my point”.
So, let me summarize the 2 main ways you can apply this.
(1) Write down your goals and what you want to become on a piece of paper and read it out loud to yourself everyday.
Yeah!
I know it sounds like motivational hush-hush stuff.
But there are various spiritual and scientific facts to back this up.
King Solomon said - As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.
And one way to do that is to write the messages you want to send to your mind down and keep repeating it to yourself until your inner man gets it.
(2) Find out ONE skill that, if you learn it, will change your life.
Then discipline yourself to spend a minimum of 1 hour everyday sharpening that skill.
A good idea is to dedicate a particular time to it.
Example : If you want to learn how you can make at least $1,000/month without any capital, skills and experience, send a PM right now to get your special discount link.
I am ready to help you commit to your success.
