12 WAYS YOU CAN GET MORE OF
THE BEST STUFF FROM THE BBHF
THE BEST STUFF FROM THE BBHF
I'm updating this post regularly as I respond to comments, questions, etc. so re-visit!
![[Image: 2018-03-10_1746.png]](https://content.screencast.com/users/layna61524/folders/Jing/media/94a57e2c-77eb-48b5-ae42-224d14f47181/2018-03-10_1746.png)
There was no proper category to put this but some "newbies" may find this advice helpful.
We're all looking for valuable stuff to download, whether to use in a current project or sometime further down the road.
The latest internet marketing mega-course, graphic design programs, Lynda and Udemy courses, e-books on just about anything, private label or master resell rights content ... it doesn't matter.
BUT... IS THIS YOU?
![[Image: 2018-03-10_1823.png]](https://content.screencast.com/users/layna61524/folders/Jing/media/b09e4666-c1ee-4fd0-bd7f-4ca2065e5d9f/2018-03-10_1823.png)
Sadly, at one time or another, we've all been there.
TOO LATE TO THE PARTY!
You finally found the product you've been searching for but...
- The thread is woefully outdated
- The original post contains a link the moderators blocked or otherwise made unintelligible because they somehow violated forum policy
- Any (once-working) download links have all expired
- No one bothered to make mirrors
- You've asked for re-ups but all you hear is ... crickets.
Well, if you want the best-of-the-best, you're on the best black-hat forum there is!
Now, all you've got to do is use a few simple methods to always (well ... almost always) get the best the BBHF has to offer.
![[Image: 2018-03-10_1747.png]](https://content.screencast.com/users/layna61524/folders/Jing/media/08ad1967-4fea-405b-b0fd-c35ec52782dc/2018-03-10_1747.png)
Without further ado, here are 12 ways you can get more of the best stuff from the BestBlackHatForum.
#1
Use the View New Posts link at the upper left corner of the screen. It's under the "Welcome back, username" section of the screen. This ensures that you're seeing the posts that were made on this very day. Any shares, requests, or other comments posted there will be fresh.
#2
Use the View Today's Posts link to see newly posted content. The New Posts and Today's Posts links are two you want to check as soon as you log on because download links die fast; especially those mirror links. Zippy is the worst in terms of life expectancy. You don't want to be that guy (or gal) who's always begging for re-ups. Check out these two links regularly and you can be among the first to hit a download link soon after it's posted.
#3
Check out the REQ (Request) section often ... you'll be surprised at the treasures you'll find there.
"But wait just a minute, Layna!" I can hear you saying... "Isn't that where people ASK FOR stuff?"
Yep, it is.
And what I've been finding lately is that other people come there and post the download links to what they're asking for!
Here are the kinds of posts you will usually find in a REQ post (after the OP makes a request):
+ one (or more) people "bumping" the thread in support. This means that there are others who would like this item, too. Supposedly, that support enhances the chance that someone will try to provide the item.
I've seen one thread where no fewer than 63 people "bumped" it. Funny thing is, as soon as someone shares what they wanted, you can count the number of people who bother to say "Thanks" or post any kind of comment on the fingers of one hand.
+ one (or more) people supplying a link to a forum thread with the comment "Already been shared." Sometimes, this is helpful. It just means that the requestor didn't do a thorough search and asked before looking on the forum.
Or, that the forum search feature needs to be re-worked (I'll vote for that!).
Anyway, the forum link will take you to the thread where the item is/was shared but, what if the download links in the OP (original post) have died? And no one posted any mirrors?
Sometimes, in their zeal to help, people quickly post a thread without knowing if the links have expired. So, sometimes "Already shared" isn't helpful because we're all back to Square 1.
+ one person posting a link to an external website seemingly related to the item in the request, asking "Is this what you're looking for?"
Sometimes it is; sometimes not.
But here's where it gets interesting...
Not often, but sometimes, you will find:
+ one person posting a forum link where the item is already being shared (you can get the download from there if the link still works);
+ post a download link they created (ex: purchased the product and uploaded it to create a share post);
or
+ post a direct download link to the item from a website rip they did (you can get a LOT MORE than just the item requested. A website rip serves up more links or a website download page where you can get other products).
So, make it a habit of checking the REQ section. Once you spot a product request that interests you, go deeper to see what kinds of posts are there. Like I said, you will usually see one post after another saying "looks good," "I'd like this, too," "bump," or "bumping" .. one even said "bumpity-bump-bump"!
But occasionally, if you read to the end, you may see a link. And sometimes, the link may be to the website's download page or a rip where you get access to the index of downloads.
UPDATED 3-11-2018:
Want proof?
Just to show that I won't lead you astray, here's an example of what I mean.
Go to this REQ thread and check out post #2:
Magic Button :

.
TruthHurts was kind enough to post the access link to the request, right there in the REQ thread! Most people don't bother to visit the REQ thread because you don't expect to find download links there.
And look! Here's ANOTHER ONE...
Magic Button :

.
Check out Post #2 and you will see the download links for the Front End and another for the Bonuses!
.
When most here see a REQ they can help supply, here's what they (myself included) do:
*** Create and post a new thread in the GET section in the proper category
*** Post to the REQ thread that the item is now available and post the forum thread URL so they can get there without having to search for it
But I do one more thing that I'm not sure others do...
*** Copy the GET thread URL
*** Go back to the REQ thread and take down the usernames of everyone who posted their interest or support for the REQ
*** Send a PM to everyone to alert them that the item is available for download.
If the message goes through, I'm happy but every once in a while, I need to delete a few people from the list because there is an issue with their Private Messaging.
I address Private Messaging settings a little later down this list.
SIDE NOTE: I've had people message me to say how they can't believe how far above and beyond I go to help. Well, thanks folks ... I don't wear a halo and I don't have special powers. I just try to treat others the way I'd like to be treated. In life and on the forum. If I can help you, I'm going all-out to do so. If I can't, I will be honest but I will find the nicest way possible to tell you that.
#4
Use Common Courtesy/Niceties. You'll be surprised how far a little common courtesy will get you. Later, I talk a bit about sending a PM (private message) but it can go for posts, too. Generally, everyone wants to be helpful when a person is courteous and not too pushy or cocky. I've seen a few people on BBHF who hardly ever post but when they do, it's something ill-tempered (cursing someone or otherwise bringing someone down).
Now, I'm not talking about calling someone out. You can do that without "going for the jugular." But some people are just nasty-tempered and ready to rumble, even when there's no cause for it.
"You can attract more flies with honey than with vinegar," it's been said.
If you want anyone on the forum to assist you in any way, share something you want, or do you any favors, it pays in spades to be kind.
#5
Do More (Than Ask for Stuff). The forum is a place we all come to find stuff. But it looks good when your profile shows you contribute, too. I won't spend a lot of time on this point (it may be a waste of time) but I'm eager to help most of the time. But I'm more willing to help someone who seems like they've been a help to others.
Someone who has been on the forum for more than a year with less than a handful of reps (to me) means that person has contributed nothing of value. I've been here quite a while and I KNOW people "Thank" and/or "REP" for shares of any kind. It doesn't have to be a product download share. You can give advice, support, help to answer questions ... anything.
There are all kinds of posts on how to find stuff to share with others. I believe I've seen them written by StillStanding and NonConformer --- I know I've written quite a few. My point is, if someone wanted to be more useful on the forum (instead of always looking for something to GET) there is no excuse.
To people who don't value "Thanks" and "REPS" ... that's YOU! Some of us here appreciate common courtesy even if the REPS mean little or nothing to most in reality. You can't spend them. They don't appreciate in value. Still, it's the principle involved. If you walked into a store and picked up a product and simply turned your back and walked away, see how far you'd get before security is all over you. On this forum, people work almost as hard to "find" things others are looking for.
Until the forum finds a way to mandate people click a button to add REPs before they can download a share, then voluntary is all we have to go on. But for people who simply refuse to do this, it says volumes.
#6
Join other B-H forums and download sites. The BestBlackHatForum is great! Still, you won't find everything here. It pays sometimes to be registered at one or more black-hat sites.
I can't list the ones I belong to here because I believe that is against forum policy but if you don't already belong to another B-H site, sign up.
Do your due diligence and make sure they have decent offerings; it would be a waste to sign up and find out (like I did at a pathetic excuse for a B-H site) that the newest posts are almost a year old; that (as such) there is very little activity; and that (as such) the links have all died.
#7
Use the SEARCH POST text field (see the SECOND text input field at right in the image below) to look up other shares by your favorite contributor.
![[Image: 2018-03-10_1644.png]](https://content.screencast.com/users/layna61524/folders/Jing/media/e8b36c86-1abb-4722-b216-3947155711b3/2018-03-10_1644.png)
Let's just say you like the kinds of things I share. Then, you can search the SEARCH POST area of the forum for my shares by typing in "layna61524" (without the quotation marks) and a list of my shares will appear as posts in chronological order, from most recent to least.
#8
Use the SEARCH TITLES text field to look up shares by subject or title or topic/keyword. I think this may be the most often used search area on the forum. It appears at the left in the image for #7 above.
#9
Join a Group Buy (GB) if there's something you really want but don't want to pay retail and can't find it for free.
It's a "buy" so there will be a cost involved but since you're going in with a number of others, it will be a mere fraction of what you'd expect to pay if going it alone. Be sure to follow the GB instructions.
and lastly, ...
#10
Send a PM. Don't be shy. If you want something that was shared but find the links have all died, you can post to the thread to ask for a re-up. But I've found the best way to get a quick reply (and a download link) is to send a friendly private message to the OP (original poster) ... and maybe the first 2 or 3 forum members who commented with a "Thanks" because more than likely, they were able to download the item at that time and may still have access to it.
Don't be pushy or sound desperate. And whatever you do, be brief. A courteous hello and a sentence or two to say you wonder if they still had the item (by name) should do. Oh, yeah ... it always helps to include the URL of the forum thread. Just copy-and-paste it into the message so they can return to the old thread and see first-hand what you're asking for.
Sometimes people don't bother to read the dates on forum posts. I can't tell you how many times I've seen a thread where activity ceased in 2015 but someone posted today asking "Can someone re-up?"
You may be lucky and get a reply sooner than later. Most people will tell you whether they can help. Private messages are good to communicate out of the public forum but keep in mind some people have limits set where they cannot send or receive after a certain number.
#11
MONITOR YOUR PM SETTINGS: Be sure to check your private messaging settings. I've had people ask me a question or wanted a download link, etc. and sent me a PM. When I tried to reply back, I couldn't because they had either reached a PM limit or it was turned off.
If you try to send a PM and get an error message, that means you cannot get a message to them that way. The only thing left is to post to the forum thread and hope someone sees it who can help.
On one special occasion, I asked a forum administrator to add a little space to a guy's in-box just so I could send a message. I don't recommend YOU do that; like I said, this was a special situation and the Admin was kind enough to comply.
Before you send a message by PM make sure you can receive a message in return. Otherwise, you will find yourself sitting by waiting for a message that can't reach you.
If you've reached your PM limit, go back into your inbox and delete older messages you no longer need.
If your PM settings are turned off, go into the User's Control Panel dashboard and be sure to click the "ON" radio button. If it is already "ON" then that isn't the problem and you most likely have too many PMs stored to get any more through.
If you're having an issue with your private messaging but can send one out, I recommend you PM a forum Administrator (Lala and Omni Potents are two but there are others) about the issue and they can take a look or re-set something that may be causing the problem.

SHARE ... Whatever You Can If you find or purchase an e-book or other product you think others will find useful, share it on the forum.
While this is the best forum to GET stuff, you need to know that others are more likely to help you if you help others. So don't get in the habit of always asking for something, bumping other people's requests and taking what other people offer.
If you don't have a product to share, you can post something useful related to your experience. Anything helpful.
I've created e-books around things I've found (ex: Persian download sites that offer just about all the music, TV, movie, computer programs, etc. you'll ever need) and a post with links to blogs and websites (ex: How to work with PLR content) so there is always something you can GIVE to the forum.
Before you post, be sure you:
*** Post to the right section (ex: don't post a Kindle related share to a PLR thread)
*** Check to see if it's been shared before or recently (if you're sharing something that has already been shared and the links work, you may ADD ON to the thread with a mirror link, unless the original poster has asked that his/her share NOT be mirrored. A few people take care of their own shares and don't allow mirrors. You don't want to post to a brand new thread for something that's already shared unless it is a very old thread or there is a problem with the download links.
*** Don't use premium links: The forum frowns upon spammy links or those that go to premium sites where members need a paid account to download. Even if your links aren't to suspicious sites or paid mirror sites, if they EVEN LOOK off, the forum will confuse the link by overwriting it with a warning in brackets so no one can read it.
So be sure to check your link structure BEFORE you post (use the PREVIEW POST option to see what your share will look like when published. Fix the link or find an acceptable alternative.
*** Follow forum protocol (post a sales page link or say it's from somewhere else on line and, by all means, a virus scan link, if the file size allows it to be scanned for malware, viruses, etc.)
*** Don't grab any old stuff from other forums to post here. If the product is good and you want to share it, at the very least, do your due diligence. Virus scan it and then use the previous tips (follow forum protocol, etc.) You don't want to share something that compromises people's computers and you run that risk by grabbing any stray links you find online.
*** Don't steal other's download links. If you find a download link from another site/forum, it's always better to download to YOUR computer first, check everything (virus scan, etc.) and then create NEW download links for this forum. If you don't and the original links go down, everybody here loses that access. If you have the product on your computer, you can always re-up if asked.
*** Ask for mirrors. People here are fairly helpful. At the end of your post, just say Please mirror my share and a few people will post alternative download links. This helps to keep the download links alive and the thread active. A win-win for everyone.
If you don't know how to post a share, there should be helpful posts on the forum with instructions. Do a search to find them.
So, that's it.
***** ***** *****
Some of you will already know all this. My post here is intended for people who are still trying to find their way around the forum; both newbies and not-so-newbies.
I remember when I first landed here. I didn't know how to prepare a download to share. It took a while to get a little experience under my belt and at times, it was daunting. But now that I've got the swing of it, wild horses can't stop me from posting shares!
So, if you learned just one thing from my post, then, I've accomplished my goal.
I hope you will not only find this useful but actually put it into practice.
Make the most of your precious time on the forum. Go for the gold at the start and you will get more of the best stuff available without waiting for re-ups.
I wish you the best!
