First of all, 99% people outsource their content mate! So don't worry about it.
And I have given the investment breakdown in a comment. Giving that for you here:
1. Domain hosting: $50
2. Article: This is the most important part and this is the main cost. I generally start with 30k-50k words content which costs $250-$400. Though as much content as you can put in your website, it will be better. But it's okay to do that gradually. The website I sold, that was having 60k words content in total. And the project I am planning I will start with 40k contents and I will be adding more contents per month.
3. Backlink: I did all the basic backlink myself with the past 2 projects. But these days I am planning to outsource which will cost me around $100. And the advance backlink estimated initial cost is $200. BUT you can always do the backlink yourself if you don't have the budget.
4. Tools: Premium theme and few other tools is needed which cost is around $300 but I will be giving that to you so no cost here for you.
So basically, $500 is enough to get started, if you have $1000 budget that's even better. What I always do: I reinvest. That means when I start making money from the site I do reinvest in backlink and more content. So that my site can earn more money per month and I can get more money when I will be selling that site.

Hello mate, Thanks for showing interest. You are partially right here. First of all "$50/month hosting" it's not right. You can get good hosting within $50-$100.
So, for better understanding I am quoting myself from a previous comment "$500 is enough to get started, if you have $1000 budget that's even better."
And in the coaching I will show you two model of niche site. One is small niche site which can earn $500-$2000 and another model is authority site which we will make to achieve $3000-$5000 passive income per month within 2 year. And we can keep enjoying the passive income monthly or sell the site for 80k-120k too.
