Twitter's TOS makes little sense. Basically it says 'you will not use any automated means to manage your account' - yet there are many social software products that do just that, and Twitter provides an API to facilitate it.

Rutecky's argument is that just because you use Twitter's API to get the data that does not make it Twitter TOS compliant. Does that hold water? I would say not unless Twitter actually prohibited finding followers automatically somewhere else.

Users can make up their own minds - and presumably have if they bought this BSO.
