*** Plugin Update Announcement ***

We have just released an updated version of the plugin and an email has been sent to all current customers of the plugin.

This update deals with a number of small code improvements as well as helping to make sure the plugin remains as stealth as possible.

To update to the latest version please go to your WP site where you have the plugin installed and navigate to your plugins page. Next to the Like Jacker plugin it should show an "update" link. Click that link and the plugin will update automatically inside your WP install and will require no further action on your part.

If there is no update currently showing please check your email inbox for an email from us which will have a new download link for you to use. Download the new version of the plugin to your desktop.

To update the plugin manually (which can happen on some hosts but not all):

1) Go to the Like Jackers settings page and copy the license key that you have.
2) Deactivate and then delete the plugin from your WP install. It is very important that you delete the plugin and its files.
3) Upload the new version of the Like Jacker that you just downloaded.
4) Activate the plugin and then enter your license key.
4) Save all settings.

All of your settings that you had chosen before updating should already be pre-filled for you.

Did you know that you can also rename the Like Jacker plugin folder to anything that you prefer?

When you have the Like Jacker installed, in the source code of your site, the name of the plugins folder appears and this can make it easy for someone to see that you are using this plugin if they view your sites source code. Using either an FTP client or your cPanels file manager all you need to do is rename the plugins folder from 'like-jack-ninja' to something innocent sounding and that is related to WP.

As an example: 'wp-theme-helper' or 'wp-css-controller' or 'header-slide-images' etc.

If you rename the plugin to something of your own choosing you will remove the ability of someone being able to identify that you're using the plugin by the name of the plugins folder.

Please post a reply if you need any further advice on this or have any questions about it.

Thanks, We Build Tools

I sincerely apologise to the OP, WeBuildTools, for my delay in providing my review due to my recent hospitalisation.

Here is my review on FB Like Jacking Ninja. I used it on a new website.

This plugin provides 2 choices to jack FB likes. You can activate it to do so sitewide or on individual posts (which will override the sitewide command). This is one of the safety nets for this plugin as you can send it to as many FB pages as you like and not just growing 1 FB page too fast.

Another safety net is the ability to activate the like jacker at certain times of the day. You would also be delighted to see that you can control how many likes you can jack per day and also the ratio of FB like jacks to the number of visitors. These functions will help to keep FB off your radar.

The browser window would open up to the FB login page if the visitor is not logged into FB (please refer to the image above). In fact, if no limit is set, the browser window would keep popping up when you browse through a few pages. When I was testing my site, I had 5 of such windows popping up in total. I hope the OP would be able limit this action to once per visitor per day.

The second issue that can be improved on is the word "Like" that appears upon hovering the mouse pointer over some website elements. Can you please make it into other generic words? Or at least let the users have the ability to change it manually? The word "Like" is too suspicious in this case.

Thank you for letting me have a review copy for this plugin but I personally feel that much can be improved to reduce the suspicions of FB. I hope you will make some changes to the plugin based on what I have shared above. I will be glad to write another review again for it when you have made the changes.
The issues that you have pointed out do not normally happen and shouldn't be happening when you hover your mouse of the "post" button for a comment.

The Like Jacker has the ability to detect when your sites visitors are logged in to their FB accounts and then they are not. The ones who are not logged in to a FB account are ignored by the Jacker. The box from FB asking them to log in should never appear and I can only think that you have some kind of browser extension enabled or some privacy settings in your browser that is preventing the jacker from being able to detect if you are logged in to your FB account or not.

If you had of contacted support about this they would have been able to identify what is causing this in your instance and advised you of it accordingly. This is not the normal behaviour of the Like Jacker and if it was then we'd have been dead in the water with sales a very long time ago in other forums and from sales of the product from its own website.

Please get in touch with support at http://webuildtools.com/helpdesk/ about this so they can advise you. Once they have done so maybe you can update the review with the outcome of that.

We've never had an issues with using the Like Jacker on a site where AdSense is also used. As there are no connections between AdSense and FB I can't see why it would cause any issues with AdSense.
