those are link cloaking plugins, please read through my BSO FAQ (first sales post) to find the differences between cloaking and hiding links.

And before you ask further questions, please make sure you read the entire thread cos majority of your questions have already been answered. Angry
Hi

I wanted to know when should I activate this plugin? It automatically hides all existing links but what about new links that I will add to new pages will it automatically hide those as well? So once the plugin is active I need to stop worrying about old links and new links.

Also does it automatically open links in new window and no follows those?

As long as you have the plugin activated, all old and new links will be removed from source code thus hiding is in effect. If you have links or domains you wish to leave intact, you'll have to whitelist them in the plugin area.

The plugin does not assign "noFollow" attributes to your external links, by doing that crawlers and spiders are still able to notice these links existence, what it does is removing the hyperlinks from the source code but still leaving the physical links there in human view.

Okay Thanks. Also I just checked one page which had affiliate links and I used Easyazon with it which automatically cloaks them, so I was not able to see any external links on SEOchat Tools Analyzer.

I just wish to understand if Easyazon is already doing this. I don't think it is coz the Easyazon shortcode is still present in source code but since Easyazon is another alternative maybe you can throw some limelight on this comparison.

I will try to use Link Ninja on Easyazon links and see if it hides them but does not look like it will. So I guess I will have to manually change links to Amazon and then activate Link Ninja.

to be honest... I have no idea what is Easyazon about so if you need any assistance with it, you'll need to create a new support ticket at our helpdesk so that our tech support can help you look into your problem.

Our helpdesk support URL is mentioned in your purchase email.

Hi Skunkworks,

I'm assuming the plugin does not automatically "hide" the domain's own internal links.

e.g. If domain is somedomain [dot] com, it would NOT hide somedomain [dot] com/contact.php

But, could it be set up so it "hides" all links in a particular category of the domain?

e.g. somedomain [dot] com/products/

Hope that makes sense :)
