Thanks Damador! New file updates OK and TAC/VT scans are great but now when loading the site there is a new popup saying "a username and password are being requested by http://dev.s**wptheme.com/ The site says "My Protected Area".

i was logged in as admin and reloaded the front end, i think it was just on the home page. i also tried in another browser (logged out of WP) to load the site's homepage and got the same popup without the actual page behind it loading.
