What i did to solve this issue is upload and replaced the original lib/app-page.inc file and timezone selection is active on my end.

I am new here and downloaded and installed CPV labs no problem. Not sure if it will have errors after reading through these posts but just want to say thanks for putting in the time and effort to null and share.

Does anyone know if CPV Lab works using cheap shared hosting (awardspace)? I am just trying to test it out and having a bitch of time getting it to connect to the database to install. I had no trouble creating a MySQL database, but not sure how to 'grant the user all privileges'... is this possible using cheap shared hosting?
