I don't think that Moderators will listen to us. I hope they will but don't you think they are watching what's happening here and not doing anything! I do agree with you CitizenKane and zuza gives a great post.
The question is will they corporate with us!!!!
cautiontapedmummy:
The ONLY rule EVERYONE should keep is: If you TAKE the coupon deal, GIVE BACK SOME LOVE by giving some feedback to help the creator out, ASAP.
That's a great point.

Agreed But.................
First There Must Be A Strict Rule ,Not To Put Affiliate Link On The Threat With Discount Coupon Code.If Any One Found,That User Must Be Banned.......
Second New User Can't Post Threat Until 30 Days Of Registration. This Will Make Forum Clean From Spammer.
I Agreed That User Must Not Create A Threat On Free Udemy Course.
Agree But Some Condition.......
If A Threat Is Created With Udemy Coupon Code And If The Code Is Expire ,Then User Can Create New Threat On That Course With New Coupon Code.
If A Threat Is Created With Udemy Coupon Code And It Is 15 Days Old,But Still Coupon Code Is Working,Then User Can Create New Threat.

soaef, I like your ideas but not sure if those above are gonna make it easier and here is why:
Yesterday I found new code. I knew this course was here some time ago so I went and search for it.
What I got in result was: 4 threads with the same title!!!
Now, which one to choose to put a new code? the last one, the first one, person I know better, newbe? Finally I had to open ALL of them and read them all just to check if any of them has the code I found and after I checked that I just put the code randomly to the last one I was scanning through.
This is TIME CONSUMING and not practical. I almost created a new thread myself! Why? cause it was FASTER to me than going through 4 threads and reading them all. This is what is gonna be happening because no one has time to go through all threads.
Now who is gonna count days of the last post?
Now lets say you are looking for particular course cause you wanna find a code and all of the sudden you are getting 5 different threads of the same course in results- again you need to go through all of them to find out what's going on.
If we have just one thread and even posted 3 weeks ago the moment you gonna add new code to this thread in comments this thread is going at the top of the whole udemy section so everyone sees there is something going on and can check it. It's simply easier for us posting and for those who are looking for codes to get a course.
I found new code today too - according to what you said I should create new thread - i didn't. I posted it in thread I found that was created long time ago but it appears as 'new' and is at the top of the whole section so if someone still missed it - he can grab it. He got all in one now. He doesn't need to look among few threads anymore.
Remember that also you gonna keep this rules you mentioned above, many ppl won't we gonna have what we have now. Anyway, these are my thoughts to this idea from my experience here. Don't take it personally it's not about you soaef :) Thank you for participating in this discussion. We need people like you to support this section! :)
Anyway whatever is gonna work better for majority I will go for it. :)

I know it kind of goes against the whole forum/community thing, but if threads were simply there to supply codes, maybe with a review or two, it would be much neater/more accessible as well. Some threads have had one code posted (OP), yet are at 3 pages with a combination of thank you's, people mentioning it has sold out, and others requesting a new code/to have the course ripped. The latter doesn't just happen once or twice either, but multiple times over a 2-3 day period, sometimes by the same people.
Maybe not as big an issue as multiple threads, but I don't think you need more than one person posting that a code has expired, or requesting a new code. If one person wants a new code, chances are multiple people will want one, and if one becomes available, it won't do so because 20 people post requesting one (or will it?).
Just my two cents.

I think as others have suggested having only one thread for a course would be nice.
As and when new coupons become available they should be added to the same thread thereby creating less clutter and will help in keeping things cleaner.
However, I do not know if it is possible to ensure that all new threads are about courses whose coupons have not been shared in the past automatically. If not then the onus has to be taken on by the members.
Thank you for discussing such issues and trying to improve the forum.
