[READ] Easy Way to upgrade your basic memberhip in BBHF to Uploader status

Obviously VIP members don't need to read this as they have all the benefits that an Uploader member has plus more,ex. being able to give 5 reps to sharers, where as the Uploader member can give 3 reps.

In case you don't know the advantages of being upgraded to Uploader status, here they are:

1.Your username color will change to yellow
2.Increase storage for your PM's
3.You will be able to edit your posts
4.Ability to give contributors up to 3 reps for their shares.

Getting upgraded to the Uploader level may be easier than you think, how about simply asking a moderator to upgrade you? I know that seems too easy but I came across some members who have done basically nothing since joining, yet their accounts have been upgraded to the Uploader level.

Check this out, one member who has been here for 6 years, has just 13 posts and only 5 reps, another 3 years, 8 posts and 0 reps. I've also seen members who have 80, 90 reps or more and are still at the basic level. These weren't just isolated examples, I could've given plenty more, but you get the idea. The bottom line is members are being upgraded that really shouldn't be and members that should be aren't. You simply can't depend on being upgraded by the system, it seems to be a hit or miss type of thing.

It would seem that these members got upgraded because of some kind of glitch in the forums software or they simply asked a moderator to be upgraded.

You might as well just ask and see what happens? If they say something like "you need to be more active before we can upgrade you", mention you've seen members with a lot less activity than me so why have they been upgraded and I haven't.

Looking at it from the forums viewpoint, it's to their advantage to upgrade members because now since you can give 3 reps for a share, it stands to reason if someone is receiving more reps their likely to share more stuff.

Very true, I have seen a guy joined Dec and only some 52 reps, he had a uploader tag which he had only 4 shares there might be some error with the system.

Anyway I will be very happy if my reps level will increase to 3 as most of the bbhf family members deserves for there great shares, if that's not possible at least my reps bandwidth need to be more as today I already reached maximum

Thanks StillStanding, I thought there were only 2 levels of membership, the basic that everybody starts out with when they register, and VIP. I did what you said and within day or two, lala upgrading me to the Uploader level. BTW, I repped you for this thread, gave you 3 reps, not the 1 rep when I was a basic member-).

Hmm... That's a shortcut to getting the Uploader status. I got mine after a few shares/uploads.
