RE: INFO- Udemy updating the free course policy

To my eyes their new 'rules' are all about forcing some cost savings in their BW usage - typical of when some exec needs to justify his salary. Seems like a good time for the smart members here to look into the tools to DL their best courses. Usually once things start tightening up like this, other measures come right along because they want FAST results and do not care at all about either the quality of what they offer nor about the users who fill their paychecks.
Agree with you, smithnowt, 100%. Also, the managers below obviously want to justify their existence and constantly pushing some crappy "enhancements" to the UI which in turn create new bugs to work on and so on. The original UI design and features circa 2017 was possibly the best. It's really crappy nowadays and switching to RactJS wouldn’t help. |

Lol, why do you even care? Udemy courses are totally s.hit, I haven't seen a single one worth the time wasted watching it
Then my friend you haven't watched and learned from some of the courses I have. I do agree that more than a few courses are total crapola. Maybe more than a few. Still I have gotten plenty of value from some courses, taught by tip of spear instructors. But you are certainly entitled to your opinion. |

Lol, have fun watching your videos by third world "instructors" with terrible audio and broken English
Me thinks you paint Udemy instructors with a very wide negative brush. 1. Dr. Matthew Checkley (UK) Expert on business strategy and peer reviewed accelerated learning methods. 2. Chris Haroun (USA) Award Winning MBA Professor, Venture Capitalist and Author behind several of the highest rated business courses on Udemy. 3. Leon Chaudhari (Germany) So brilliant, at 17 he was offered a honorary PhD because of his research on cancer. He turned the PhD down and is now a mini mogul in his mid twenties. 4. Chris Bankes Sivewright (UK) - former Oxford professor and expert on economics. Not a third world country citizen among them and all with superior command of English. All lessons clear and focused. But knock yourself out with your clearly flawed viewpoint. |
