I'm not interested in joining the group buy since I already have my own subscription, but I can confirm you can use it on 2 computers at the same time, not 3. You can install it on every computer you own or VPS you use, but you can only run 2 instances at the same time.

So basically you can only have 1 other person join you on this. I'm still interested if you want to do it. But if there are more than 2, then I think another 2 can do another separate subscription.
