That is definitely something to keep in mind.

If you notice, the product creator talks about the results of the push campaigns he sends out - meaning he had 300+ people on his push list, he got X clicks out of those 300, made $Y, etc.

However, he never said (that I recall - I'd have to go back and look, so I could be wrong) what his conversions on the solo ads themselves were like.

i.e. - how many clicks was he sent from his solos to his landers and how many of those clicks opted into his push notification list...then compare that to what his normal email opt-in rate would be on a solo ad buy of the same size.

Of course, the *real* number to worry about would be the average value of a push subscriber vs an email subscriber.

Meaning if you get only half as many people to opt into your push list as you do an email list, but make 3x the $$, then it's more than worth it because you're coming out further ahead.

But the product creator didn't go into that kinda detail.

(Also keep in mind that push notifications don't work with iOS, as I mentioned in my post on the first page. Certainly not a deal-breaker, but something that definitely needs to be kept in mind.)

The way he built his landing page, with the arrow pointing up to the Push Box, and the way the Push Box is worded, I could see how he could get some people to select YES, but it won't last long, which is probably why the method is for sale.

I ALWAYS select NO, and so do most people who know what Push Notifications are. Pop-up blockers and soon to come Push Notification blockers!
