What it all comes down to is being able to communicate effectively with people on various levels. You can speak to ordinary people as well as those on a higher socio-economic level with plain English, no doubt, but having a facility with words is key to communicating to a wider range of people. Since many people on BBHF are selling something (or are looking to sell something) to others, communication is an important part of that --- through copywriting, email communications and content creation. And the better your vocabulary, the better you will be at expressing your message to the masses.

I stepped away from this thread for a moment and just now thought to come back to see what, if anything, was going on.

NOTE: I removed my Wordle solve because I am currently having technical issues with my TechSmith Capture program.

Hi all,

Thanks for this post, Layna. I became addicted to Wordle too.
The original link to Wordle was not working anymore, so I just tried another one https://wordlegame.org/
I like the fact you can play it in different languages and with a larger number of letters. I tried a few and this adds a nice way to make it harder. Also, you can make your own wordle puzzle, which is a nice challenge to come up with a word that's hard to solve!
Could be a great addition to this post, I guess. Wanna give it a try?

@10der1: I'm so happy for you!!! And yes, I remember solving for SCOUR but I couldn't post the image due to technical issues.

On a personal note...

As luck would have it, my TechSmith Capture software started rendering these funky-looking links just a day or two ago when I clicked on "Copy Image Link" and if you've seen any of my most recent posts, I had those ugly text strings and image format (image.png) appear in place where my images belonged.

I've got TechSmith's support folks on it. I hate technical problems that I cannot solve. And it was like pulling a horse's tooth with a pair or tweezers trying to get the customer support to understand what the issue was. So they are bandying my support ticket from one escalation to another and said it might be resolved in 1 to 3 business days.

In the meantime, none of my images on TechSmith can be posted, so I downloaded the free Ice Cream screen recorder. It works like a charm! I'm almost afraid to boast how easy it is to use and how quickly and efficiently it works because the last time I did that about a product I loved, like Deepbrid and ePubor Ultimate, those programs began to have problems and I had to amend my opinion of them.

My fingers are crossed but I'm really loving this Ice Cream screen recorder and I plan to upgrade to the PRO version because it's very affordable. Most likely, I will drop my TechSmith subscription before it is up for renewal, especially if they can't resolve the link issue... and $99 a year is not cheap. Problem is, I've got thousands of images saved there that all go to my BBHF posts and unless I transfer them to my computer, they will all come down and my posts will have those ugly "missing image" links.

So I am posting today's Wordle because I missed out on sharing my solution from yesterday...
