Well I have disabled AV and Firewall and am still getting message 'unable to connect, make sure that you are connected to internet Etc.' This has only started to happen this past week. Other than doing what I have done I cannot work out a way to access software?

It would be nice if the sarcasm and arrogance left this post. I am not as tech savvy as some people here. That is no reason to undermine genuine requests for assistance. If both AV and FW are switched off. What can be blocking access? Not a difficult question! Given the fact that this has only happened in the last week or so. Do I have some kind of virus???? Thank you so much in advance.

I contacted you via prothemes thread. Maybe my mistake. Response was 'look at thread'
300+ conflicting comments. I have just installed on a new laptop and am still getting same error. No FW. No AV. So why/how the the self same error?

1. Exit the Xampp

2. Start - Run Command - Type services.msc

3. Stop the "World Wide Web Publishing Service"

4. Start Xampp - Start Apache, Mysql and filezilla.

Run the VideomakerFX - Enjoy.

DO NOT confuse people with WRONG information in my thread!

If you have previous installation dated BEFORE 03/06/2016 download the fix and follow the instructions. It is VERY simple!

If you are installing NEW then you’re golden!

If you have ANY problems simply read and follow the FAQ.
