RE: [GET] [Update - Ver. 2 ] Instant Money Maker - How I Make Over $100 Per Day Easily!
Quasar -
Finally got thru all 53 pages of this thread! I will take action tomorrow with something I saw yesterday at Wally World to help start getting recent Ebay feedback. Its interesting what you can see at checkout at one store that's $4 more at another store. Hope you don't mind I put all your videos from this thread together for easy reference below from finding them within this thread. It was becoming a chore to try and go thru all the "non-quasar" posts to find yours! :) Video 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvPD0Xq881U Ebay Arbitrage -Intro 1 Video 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJmZW6myV3w Ebay Arbitrage 2 - The Site Video 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jeQRr-Xdtqs Ebay Arbitrage The Feedback Video 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZhN4E5dj2M Ebay Feedback 2 Video 5: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7HCEeQaTM8 Ebay and Paypal Video 6: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VR6g_01pD0k Ebay Dollar Video 7: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3PktD22w28 Ebay Arb Video 8: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9K4WprPIcQ Answers to questions (Updated 02-04 with additional video) I don't think I missed any. Many thanks for all you are/have given in this thread! Your efforts are absolutely appreciated! TJ |

I have tried looking for a range of different products, such as dietary supplements, musical instruments, clothing, accessories etc. Nonetheless, virtually everything so far has been priced very competitively on Ebay and, after taking all the fees and mark up into account, I would be selling the product for significantly more than the popular Ebay listing. I am looking at Ebay UK, so not sure if this is more of an issue over here. Perhaps, with the more popular products, the pricing inevitably becomes more competitive.I did this all day sunday and yes same results as you buddy, the only way i can see this working is going for products at a much higher price point. I have 3 job interviews arranged for this week, so will continue with this, until i find employment not giving up yet! If it works out will do it around a full time job. I'm sure it can be done, its just taking a lot of time to research. |

RE:
Thank Guys for the goodwill.
Watcher30 and LeggyAnita, I had the same problem starting off. I just couldn't find any margins to work with. Then I adapted a method which I think helped me make progress. - I go on Amazon website and click on a certain category. It doesn't matter, it could be any category, lets say Toys and Games. - On the left hand tab, if you scroll down you'll see "Avg. Customer review", click on the 4-stars and up. This will tell you which products are popular at least. - When I get there, I sort by the AMOUNT of customer reviews by looking through the page. The amount of reviews is in brackets, besides the stars. This will tell you which products are most talked about, not necessarily liked. - I take a product with a high review count (not stars) and paste it on ebay. If there are more than 50 sellers, I back out. If there are less, I try to list this product. - I'm not trying to be the cheapest out there. I want to list it at a price that makes profit for me. So I type the product name on ebay, on the left hand tab there's a box for "completed listings". Tick this. Sort by highest price. The idea here is to see the highest amount this product has sold for. (note that only the prices in GREEN sold. The ones in red had no buyers.) - If the highest price that last sold makes me a profit, then I will list it at that price and try to beat the cheaper products on my title and pictures and description. - To get a competitive edge on titles, I use Google keywords tool. Type in your product, lets say "Visine". Click 'get ideas', Click on the tab "keyword ideas". Here you'll see what customers actually typed into google in relation to this product. The idea is to list your ad in exactly the same language your customer would use, making you seem the more knowledgable on the listing. - So I can list my visine product using the google tool as "Visine Eye Drops, Chronic Dry Eye Treatment, Original, Click for ingredients". - I've been lucky in that a few of my listings have gone straight in at top 5 for my targeted product. I have only made one sale but it's been only 1 day but I have 15 watchers along about 20 products. Lots of views. My prices are not the cheapest though but I'm convinced my method will make me more than I lose. Hope this helps. If anyone wants to discuss how we can refine this process, please share with us. Thanks |

RE:
Thanks very much for the insights ducane, rep added. Congratulations on your first sale, I bet that was a great feeling. I hope to be experiencing that feeling myself in the not too distant future.....
I'll definitely give your product selection method a try, it sounds pretty logical. It's interesting to hear that other people have been encountering the same problems with the selection method as I have. I'm going to keep experimenting with this and will let you know if I have any further ideas. |

(02-03-2014 08:17 AM)essmeier Wrote: There's another reason that you may want to avoid using dropshippers. Many of the Chinese dropshippers seem to be selling at retail on eBay. You'll have a hard time offering anywhere near the prices they're able to offer. I spent an afternoon last week looking at three dropshippers rather closely and every single item that caught my interest was being sold on eBay by a Chinese seller at prices that were far below those that were offered to me.Good point, essmeier. I checked out a supplier that stated they have no B&M store to compete with their customers. They didn't mention if they list their own products. I guess any dropshipper would be crazy not to do this. Thanks for the heads up! Congrats on the sale, ducane and thanks for your method. This kind of sharing could help us all succeed. I hope that the handfull of people who continue with this will keep the thread alive. |
