Thanks Charlie. Yes, most of the products I have been looking for have been small ticket items, because I don't want to go too fast too soon. I have already started to widen my search, to find items that are not in such high demand. Hopefully, this will uncover some nice deals.

I know that you do not always have to have the lowest price, however the price hike I would have had to have made on many of the popular products was significant. Also, Quasar mentioned that you should have an idea of how you can do the listing better than your competitors. Hence, if you can not see any other way to gain an advantage, offering a better price seems like the obvious solution.

watcher30, I am facing the same challenge. I have spent a LOT of time trying to find a suitable product. I came to much the same conclusion and started looking for products near the $100 price point.

essmeier, I am also moving away from more popular products. I found one that showed the popup saying 5 sales in
the last 24 hours. I think the only source for this product is in AU. so, of course, shipping would eat potential profit.

One more thought: I can't remember the quote, but Quasar seems to dislike drop shipping. Yes, I know it's not what the ebook is about, but, if you use a legitimate supplier, is there some reason to avoid this method?

I think using retailers may be preferable as they'll offer better customer service to you, since they consider you an end buyer, rather than a middleman. That seems to be what Quasar is suggesting. Buying from a retailer or buying from a dropshipper probably work equally well - until something goes wrong.

There's another reason that you may want to avoid using dropshippers. Many of the Chinese dropshippers seem to be selling at retail on eBay. You'll have a hard time offering anywhere near the prices they're able to offer. I spent an afternoon last week looking at three dropshippers rather closely and every single item that caught my interest was being sold on eBay by a Chinese seller at prices that were far below those that were offered to me.

All Beyond excellent points! I truly appreciate your videos...I will be repping you every day this week as I go thru them. (Can only do one per day :( ) I cant agree more re language. I was dragged into texting unfortunately...but I make a point to spell out all words thank you. Your talking about action is very true. Post one auction item a day and then go from there.

Anyway, farther down the same page, this means it is at $4.50 a bottle - less than the first (bad) example.

They do too much panning and scanning, and too little reading - which has changed how copy and ALL text is being written and structured today.

It is more than my opinion - just look at basic literacy, academic test scores, ask college professors, and listen to plain, conversational English.

There are too many people relying on texting while seated at the same da*mn table! Isn't that gr8?!

And of course, let's not forget the model for executing proper literacy today - Twitter.

Just to give you guys an update. I researched a bunch of products all through yesterday and today, and actually took action.

I just made my first ever internet sale!!!!!! I almost cried from a sense of fulfillment. It was only 3 pounds profit after all the fees but it's just the knowledge that I could put more products up and increase my opportunities.

Thanks Quasar man. I owe you big time!!!

PS: I'm a bit worried about the whole amazon box stuff and hope they don't return it. F*** it, I'm up and running. I'll cross that hurdle when I get there.
