OK, I've had the chance to have a good play-a-round with this,
and here's what I have to say about it...

First, you'll need to do a couple things to get it working properly.
1. You'll need to download and install the latest version of Java.
Get it here: java.com
2. After it's installed, you'll need to go to configure it properly by going to (On a Windows 10 PC):
Start-->All Apps-->Java-->Configure Java
3. Make sure you have the latest version by clicking 'Update-->Upate Now'
If not, it will update for you. But you're probably good, so click on 'Security'
4. Then click on 'Edit Site List...' Click 'Add'
Enter this into the little bar: http://52.36.62.230
5. Click Ok. Click Ok again.
6. All done!
Now you can use this in whatever version of FF you have (I believe).

Now that we have that out of the way, here's what I did...

I set up and tested a FEW webinars. Here's what I found out:

-I used the Firefox browser
-The landing page templates that come with it are nice.
I have the Pro version, but never saw any more than the 4 templates...even though there are supposed to be 10 more.
-Once you get the hang of it, it's quite easy to get things set up.
-It's mobile responsive.
-The features are...ok. Nothing earth shattering.
-No matter what I did, I could NEVER get the stinking recordings to show up.
...Even though it showed that the webinar was being recorded,
it never showed up after ending it.

I probably have a few more thoughts/observations to share, but
that's it for now.

Honestly, I can't understand what all the big fuss is about this product.
There are SO many people p****** this now...and it's all about the money. The promotion.
Crazy.

Anyway - that's it for now.

I had the idea if one of us could get a webinar scheduled and working people on this forum could log on for half an hour in force and see what this program can handle. I mean its one thing to have two people on it its another having 100. Would anybody like to get a signup page working etc so we could see if the think works as a whole and schedule a session.

I have tested this SaaS and its not worth.... :( I prefer the trial of GotoMeeting....every time I create one.

I'm super-super glad and happy for this awesome forum here!
Thanks to JS for this great share so that we can test this and see how it works without having to pay first.

If this worked as well as it should, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

There's no doubt that GTW is the big boy on the block.
And the ridiculous price for it definitely creates a massive opportunity
for another SaaS to come in and do basically the same thing at a much cheaper price point.

That's why we have WebinarJam and others.

Then we also have a few WP Plugins, like RunClick or Webinar Ignition,
and they're good...but it's on WP, so there may be a lingering question mark in the back of your head.

I recently bought another solution called WebinarX.
Been playing around with that, and it's not too bad.
It uses Hangouts on Air (HOA), and has some decent features built-in,
such as a proper integrated autoresponder and emailing solution that you can use w/ SMTP.
There's also a White Label version of it which I also picked up.

So far, I much prefer that one (WebinarX) over this new one (RunAWebinar).

...At least I know that my shit is getting recorded properly!

...OH YEAH - 1 other thing... Have you noticed that almost all the marketers who are selling these alternative webinar solutions ARE STILL USING GOTOWEBINAR TO SELL THEIR SHIT??? How hypocritical is that? I believe you should eat your own cooking.

Hey everyone, I just finished playing with it.

Basically the recording button isn't working at the moment.

Also you need to consider your upload speed to the internet, my is very bad, so even if I want it I can run it because my ADSL upload is s@#t. So look at you upload speed using speedtest.net

I got the microphone, and webcam to work, I don't think I can move the webcam into the screen area. Its locked.

I know this is a real stupid question.... but are you guys registering with real email and name?

I never do, unless I buy it, however thought it would be nice to get updates and such.

I'd STRONGLY suggest that you create a new email address that:
1. Doesn't have your real name in it.
2. You can use for this purpose anytime, for any product you want.
3. That you don't care much about.

Last time I checked, places like Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. all still have FREE accounts!! :)

...Just create one (or more) account(s) and use that for stuff like this.
