RE: [GET] Discovered! 505 Odd Enterprises
A lil late in the game but thank you so much layna for introducing us to these OGs and their timeless wisdom and ideals. Without your concourse, I (we) would not have acknowledged those luminaries.

Here's a sneak-peek at the Foreword to A Lifetime of Homework e-book:

So, with these 2 e-books and bonuses, you will find plenty of unusual ideas for small, home enterprises.

And while many of these ideas are outdated due to advanced technology --- as has already been stated here --- there is always potential to find the proverbial "diamond in the rough" that could be re-created to become a relevant business model.

It's just a matter of reading with an open mind and asking creative "What If...?" questions ... just thinking outside the box.

My main reason for sharing this at all was to show you that, despite the many obstacles in his path (the Depression, having to crank out his reports on a typewriter, the lack of technology to digitize his products and sell to a much larger market via the web, having to find the people operating these odd enterprises who were willing to reveal their business models, etc.), Haylings did fairly well for himself.

Yet today, with easy access to the internet, the ability to create and sell information in digital format, and advancements in artificial intelligence that can help with everything from brainstorming and research to product creation ... there are still people who can't get out of their own way. They feel there is always too much competition or that the odds are stacked against them.

So they feel defeated before they even attempt to try.

We've got it much easier today than Haylings did back then.

Read through some of these odd enterprises. And if you should see just one that has the potential to be "recreated" (with the help of AI, for instance) to create a relevant business idea for today's market...that could be your ticket to the big time.

The sheer "uniqueness" of an odd business idea can be a big hit if you can pull it off.

So read this with an open mind because there are always possibilities.
