@xman10:I tried to send you a PM but you've reached your messaging limit. Please go into the user's control panel (User CP) in your account and delete some of the messages in your inbox to see if that helps. You will find the link to that section at the left of the area you click to Log Out of BBHF. Directly behind the time displayed in your user's area.

@All: In the past when I was unable to message someone due to a messaging limit or because they had disabled the PM feature, I would stop what I was doing and contact Lala to ask if she would create some space in a user's inbox so that my message could get through. Then I'd wait until I got the go-ahead from her and try to send the message again. After doing this a number of times, I grew weary of it. I decided it's not the best way to use my time.

Users here need to understand how to maintain their inbox (or to enable private messaging if they previously turned it off) before they make a request. Not everybody likes to post something intended for one-on-one communication to a public thread.

I can't tell you the number of people who PM me with general questions or to ask for help finding links that, when I attempt to answer them, they've reached their PM limit or simply turned it off!

To those of you whose curiosity may now be peaked because of this message, don't bother wondering what this is all about or if I can share whatever I am trying to send to xman10 to you. That's why it's in a PRIVATE message; otherwise, I would have posted it here.

Which brings us back to properly maintaining the inbox. If someone is trying to help you and cannot reach you, they may post publicly to get your attention if they care enough. Otherwise, you won't hear back from them and may wonder why.
