Is there similar software out there that creates easy video/audio without the monthly subscription fee? (I *hate* those...)

Try doing a search for Explaindio. It's far better and available here ;)

One downfall is you can not insert video clips only slides/photos.

I was part of the beta testing for it and it is certainly a good tool that allows you to easily create impressive video presentations.

One thing to bear in mind though is that it's more suited to videos that will have voice-overs.

No i do NOT think SEO is DEAD(Obviously a sales pitch). But i do know Youtube is been getting a LOT of attention (Been a while already). It's only a matter of time before youtube or video niches get pretty saturated in my opinion. Besides if Google can kill off traditional SEO, why couldn't they kill off Youtube (How GOOGLE will rank the videos)?
