I combine it with TDI Pro and it works well. Also i'm using XARD for the candle instead of Heiken Ashi

Be careful when doing that... I noticed when I substituted my own Heiken Ashi with Doji Spotter candles indicator, I got completely DIFFERENT buy/sell signals.

I've had a lot of success with it... Only thing I've changed for myself is their exit strategy.

I'm currently using Chinetti to enter a trade as I was entering a little too early with other strategies. To exit? I'm using the 8 and 10 Linear Weighted Moving Averages Cross to exit.

8 LWMA on the close...
10 LWMA on the open...

Been testing this since the Chinetti was shared here... Seems to be working well for me thus far.

Just to be clear on both the 8 and 10 Linear Weighted Moving Averages...

I apply the 8 to the CLOSE with "0" SHIFT.

I apply the 10 to the OPEN with a "1" SHIFT.

*NOTE: You COULD use the FRACTAL to EXIT the trade as well but unfortunately, sometimes... At least on my platform? The FRACTAL symbol doesn't show up until after the cross. So in cases where the FRACTAL does show up? I'll go ahead and exit then. If the fractal doesn't appear and I'm still in the trade? I'll exit on the cross.

**NOTE: A fractal is a five-candle price pattern that is plotted in the candlestick chart hence, why it doesn't always show up until later.

I really hate to throw more fuel on the fire but I was literally backtesting all kinds of moving average crosses during this thread.

My backtesting is now complete and as it turns out?

I'm still using the 8 and 10 LWMAs at the cross but backtesting suggests the following configurations will get you out of the trade just a little faster if your fractal doesn't show up in time. See the pic below:


The LimeGreen VERTICAL LINE shows the same 8 and 10 Linear Weighted Moving Average Cross but with the FOLLOWING configuration:

8 LWMA (Red): Red 8 LWMA Apply to Close Shift: 2

10 LWMA (LimeGreen): LimeGreen 10 LWMA Apply to Close Shift: 0

All my backtesting is done so I'll now configure my template to utilize this new configuration.

*NOTE: In the above image, the RED VERTICAL LINE was my previous cross as explained above. The GOLD VERTICAL LINE used the 8 LWMA Apply to Close Shift: 0 and the 10 LWMA Apply to Close Shift: 2 -- I used all kinds of other configurations for this cross along with performing the same backtesting on other LWMAs with different numbers. These three were constantly the best but in the end, the LimeGreen Vertical Line wins.
