Email verifier software? Or spam trap list with your own scrubbing system?

Email verifier only verifies if the domain or email is valid. How do you verify an email that is a spam trap or a a honeypot?

You still need a spam trap database.

With a spam trap database, you can just upload it to your interspire setup. Then every time you upload a new list, it just cleans it. Those desktop softwares help. But the problem in some of them is that you cannot make too many request per ip address. After a while the big servers like gmail, yahoo, hotmail starts to block your ip address.

There is normally an authentication type of service that runs to verify the email address on each server.

Also, having a spam trap database gives you a big advantage in that you are not starting from "0". You can use a spam trap with some of those desktop softwares so that when you import your list, it can clean your local spam trap list "first" then you can go and verify your other part of your list "next". This gives you less work in the long run.
