RE:
You can do your own cleaning if you have the right softwares, some of which are free and you can find online. But you then need your own suppression data.
If you need let me know. |

RE:
I would suggest using a professional service to scrub a new email list if its a large one. Yeah software works, but if you are using your email list for something like MailChimp or are using it your email list for a professional company I would avoid software at all costs. Software is good at cleaning out bounces and dead emails but it won't catch spam traps. Just one spam trap can totally love you. When I acquired a very large email list back in December I used software which cleaned up some of the bounces but on my first newsletter I hit a spam trap. It took weeks of arguing to get our domain removed from the SPAM list. I ended up going with a service after that, it's expensive given the fact that I usually use massive email lists but worth it, they usually catch 10-50 spam traps every time they clean a list up for me...plus they remove all the dead emails and bounces. I cant remember the name of the service I used for list scrubbing but it was one of the services recommended by MailChimp. I am pretty sure it was

always +REP those who help you, it's the least you could do.

RE:
Most of those providers are very expensive. If you are on a budget and just starting out doing bulk email then this is most likely not the route for you until you get enough money to spend on a list cleaning service.
Now if you have your own list scrubbing arsenal like your own spam traps (ours is over 200,000,000 spam traps), you can save a lot of money on a start up bulk email campaign. Next just remove domains that end in .gov and .mil as well. This will help you a lot. There are a few other things to do which will help you. |

RE:
or used Maxprog_Email_Verifier_and_Extractor and I have to say that the cost is not worth it not be very reliable results you should tell the program only if a valid address and valid or not, and instead tells you many times that seems to be valid and then you find yourself with three or four percent of the addresses that come back to you
if you're lucky Unfortunately, in this work we need more certainty with perhaps not go so far |
