RE: April 4th Udemy will cap instructor's coupons to 50%
Ripping is not a solution: If everything is ripped Udemy and instructors will stop functioning.
Absolute nonsense. People have said exactly the same rubbish about digital music downloads, movie piracy and software sharing. The profit percentages for selling digital training are ridiculously high. Most "instructors" (and I use the term very loosely!) spend a few hours doing some Camtasia videos and then create a "course" which they claim is worth something silly like $375. Even if they only persuade a few idiots to pay 50%, their returns are stratospherically high (and approaching WSO levels, lol) Why do you think all these "free" coupons are being given out? Not so you can get a "free" course, but because the course seller wants: 1. As many 5 star reviews as possible (and some chumps will always give a 5 star rating if they get anything for free), and 2. As many "students" as possible, as some (stupid!) paying punters think a course must be good as 3,000 people have taken it (if only they knew the truth!) In fact, this is probably the reason uDemy has put a limit on course costs and stopped the free coupons - they have probably been warned of an FTC investigation! |

RE: April 4th Udemy will cap instructor's coupons to 50%
FREE coupons are still available people.
And most sellers agree that we will make more money than trying to sell to people just waiting for a coupon or for those blasted $10/$24 sale. |
