Hi just to let you know starting on April 4th Udemy will cap instructor's coupons to 50%, no more free coupons
you obviously did not read the blog.
There WILL BE free coupons. Just discount coupons are limited to 50%, as well as minimal and maximal price of a course.
Yes, $20-$50 courses from now on however TBH they have chosen the price for you. Strange however I will accept and see if anything overall income changes.

FREE coupons still remain and BBHF Udemy section will thrive as Always ;-) :)
Udemy did say that they will continue to support free courses. So will instructors will need to make their courses FFLT (for their marketing strategy) instead of using free coupons? Or will Udemy not allow that?

They are also restricting course prices to between $20 and $50 (in $5 increments) and, as OP stated, will allow a maximum fifty percent discount. So the lowest price allowable will be $10--and that's only if it is a lowest price course. So $25 is probably the best price we can hope for. And, certainly, no more $2 coupons or $5 or $7.

Frankly, I'm getting sick of Udemy and their constantly-evolving shake-down schemes. I am so (((finished))) buying any new courses once the new policy goes into effect. Tbh, 90% of their courses are garbage anyways.
No biggie, If coupons aren't availible just rip the course you want like always....
Ripping is not a solution: If everything is ripped Udemy and instructors will stop functioning. Furthermore: I want contact with the instructor (and other students) for clearification and advice. So free coupons will be very handy indeed :-)
This going to hurt Udemy big time! Unleash the beast, I say...

To answer your question, Udemy stated that free coupons will still be OK + you can have a free course and can make it paid BUT you cannot go back to FREE, that is all... SSOOOO for us here, all is the same in terms of FFLT and free coupons.
Lets create a new site with the price instructors want :)!
