A good friend of ours here contacted me some time ago looking for any of Dan's extremely rare "special reports" which were hidden away in his Diamond letters over the years- I actually had put together a special package of the reports for him and realized I had them lol- So I wanted to put them up here for even more Dan Kennedy goodness- Hope you don't mind! @Theo1: Welcome, friend. Good to see you. And health-wise, as someone on a radio program whose name escapes me used to say: I've been better than I ought to be!

You can "intrude" anytime you like --- the more DK stuff, the better is the way I see it. So, thank you for adding that link of the special reports you shared with a friend. I appreciate it and am going to download it as soon as I finish typing this post!

As for NFL QB trades, it's been a carousel --- or more like musical chairs! Unless you are referring to something major that just happened, here's all I know...

I thought that Aaron Rodgers was going to go anywhere but Green Bay after all the talk of his dissatisfaction. Clearly, he enjoys creating a big hubbub for no good reason. After all the diva-drama about his discontent with the Green Bay front office and disregard of his input in some decision-making, he signs a uber-million-dollar multi-year contract and then quietly fades into the sunset until the new season begins. Now I hear he's trying to make-up for the break-up with his love-in, actress Shailene Woodly. What a diva!

I never thought I would pull for Jameis Winston after his childish behavior as a Tampa Bay Bucs QB and the alleged sexual abuse charges with an Uber driver but I'm glad the Saints retained him. He's proven to be a good QB with a gun for an arm so we're in good stead. He matured greatly after studying under Drew Brees and from being properly coached by Sean Payton. Let's see how he performs with our new coach Dennis Allen.

Okay, so let's see. Who's gone where...?

* Jameis Winston stays with the New Orleans Saints.

* One of our back-up QBs (Trevor Siemian) has left for the Bears.

* Matt Ryan (Atlanta Falcons) has been traded to the Indianapolis Colts and Marcus Mariota takes over under center for the Dirty Birds.

* Teddy Bridgewater is a QB for the Miami Dolphins. The Saints' offensive tackle Terron Armstead is also there and we'll miss him greatly.

* Mitchell Trubisky is with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

* Carson Wentz is with the Washington Commanders (formerly the Washington Football Team)

* Russell Wilson is now a Denver Broncos QB. I hear he wanted to go there, so good for him!

* Tom Brady said he retired but came back, presumably with the Tampa Bay Bucs but that's not yet a given. He could go elsewhere --- especially since Rob Gronkowski is a free agent and (last I heard) hasn't landed with another team yet. Maybe Brady is waiting to see where Gronk lands before he commits.

* Deshaun Watson is the new QB for the Cleveland Browns but the Browns lost their disgruntled franchise QB in Baker Mayfield when he asked to be traded.

* There are rumors that the Chicago Bears are looking to trade Nick Foles. Stay tuned.

* Jimmy G is still out there, the last I heard but I haven't been watching the NFL Channel much this past week.

* Cam Newton is still a free agent.

And this is not QB-related but wide receiver Tyreek Hill left Kansas City in free agency for the Miami Dolphins.

I know I've forgotten somebody.

I see the NFL Channel's Dan Hanzus has his NFL Power Rankings already and the new season is yet to start. I know these media people have to write about something but it's strange to rank teams when the games haven't been played so this is all about who they acquire or trade and the perceived potential of the team to win games based on that.

Unless there's something that just happened the last few hours, that's all I have. Let me know if I need to tune in to ESPN or the NFL Channel. I've been over-dosing on the Investigation Discovery channel and binge-watching paranormal tales of real-life hauntings re-told on the Travel channel.

I've also been watching Hulu and Netflix movies. I saw Ben Affleck and Ana De Armas in Deep Water last night and enjoyed it. The movie left me hanging in the end (unresolved issues) but it was highly entertaining nonetheless.

Wow Layna thanks so much for putting in the time for your thorough analysis on the QB’s- You’ve been watching the drama! Yeah it’s hard to fathom Russell on the Broncos that’s for sure. I thought it was a given that Brady was committing to the Bucs for another year though. And everything you said about Aaron R. was spot on- The amount of money they’re giving him is borderline insane, but I guess better the devil you know than the devil you don’t know, or something like that-

The person really left hanging though is Jimmy G.- San Francisco wasn’t planning on keeping him but now he may have nowhere to go, and it ain’t looking like he’d be starting for them either- I bet they’re paying him plenty though for his Subway commercials so maybe he’ll become a professional pitchman-

Anyway, glad to hear you’re doing well- Wasn’t there another line from somewhere to the effect of “If I was doing any better it would be a crime?” Kind of has the feel of a George Clooney line but I could be way off - Maybe Christian Slater if anyone remembers him-
