it's easy to connect :

you go to sound settings and in the recording tabs you chouse stereo mix as default.Then you open volume mixer and you wll put your vlc volume up. In google translator you choose mic option to input data and you acept when ask to allow vic to access.

Sometimes google translator stops recognising in the middle and you have torn off and then on again.
