Random FREE Facebook Likes Trick

So, this is kind of random, but just something I discovered recently with getting FREE Facebook likes on a blog post.

Say, you have a social media widget on your Wordpress blog and you want to get some social proof to that blog post, but you're too cheap to pay for a Fiverr gig :)

Create a Facebook advertising campaign but schedule the ad to go live at a future date. After the ad is approved you can pause or cancel it if you like, but now go look at your blog post.

It should have a handful of Facebook likes or more...how? I have no idea. But this has happened to me several times on brand new blogs and websites I've setup. Somehow, during the Facebook ad approval process, you get FREE likes. I have no idea.

Seriously? If you're going to promote some lame duck website, which is nothing more than a pile of affiliate/referral links, than why not post it in the Self Promotions area instead of wasting our time and polluting our forum with shady rubbish?

I just checked out your posts and that's all you have been doing lately. Going around posting some out dated information and promoting that awful, sloppy, shady website. I mean seriously, no offense, but did the admin outsource the design work to a 12 year old with zero experience? You may think you're being slick, but guess what bubs? You're not. I mean...you are posting in THE Best Black Hat Forum using an old hat spammer tactic everyone is familiar. I almost feel embarrassed for you. If you wan't to promote your website that badly, why not pony up and donate to this wonderful forum for a VIP account? Then you can advertise your site link in your signature and promote said website on every post without losing every shred of your dignity and respect from the marketers in this forum.
