OK everyone's that's having trouble, the hosts file is the biggest troublemaker so go back through it very carefully paying close attention to the instructions.

Make sure that xampp is running correctly BEFORE you start VideoMakerFX.
And yes xampp has to be running each time you use VideoMakerFX.

If I can do it anyone can do it!
