RE:
That's a good point ManuelQB3 and one I agree with - I'm not saying not to download anything, hell, there's solid gold info and fantastic shares all over this forum and you should always be striving to learn and improve. Download them and USE the wisdom they contain. What I am saying is to stay the hell away from time wasting WSO's and other bullshit that just ends up holding you back. Especially WSOs and especially WSOc created by IDIOTS who have no clue what they are doing! They can be one giant time suck after another.
I'd suggest anyone who is about to download something should STOP, take a pause, and then ask themselves how the download is going to help them move forward. And be honest. Will you be using it a month from now? Six months? Over a few years? Is it just a gimmick? Can it help you create LONG TERM WEALTH? Can your time be better spent on something else instead? That's why I keep hammering on and on to people about learning copywriting and marketing fundamentals. Learn that shit and you can use it for the rest of your life. This is even more important to those who waste time with low money gimmicks. I mean seriously, why waste your time F****** around with something that is going to dry up and only going to make you a couple bucks here and there to begin with? <--- This is what I see the most on here, people wasting time on low revenue gimmicky junk. I wonder how many people who were all charged up reading this thread are now right back doing what they were doing a month ago? *smack* - here's your wake up call reminder to knock it off and get back on track! |

Thank you NON. Everything you've shared in 2014 has helped me become
a better copywriter (still aiming to get better) and business owner. You are so right, knowledge is one thing - applying knowledge is another. All the best for 2015 and years to come. |

RE:
When everything seemed dark, I got the right motivation I needed. Studying the books now.
I have a simple question. Where to start if I were to start from scratch, from zero? (My plan is to go through the business marketing and other sections, read that which interests me, and apply that.) If I get suggestions, where to start, that would be great. |

N.C. I would like to publicly thank you for giving me that mental kickass that I needed.
All of 2014 I sat on my hands, wondering if, now I started 2015 with what's next! Your words motivated me on my plan ride back from vacation to focus on building my own business and step away from the corporate world wearing a suit and tie, but I can walk in there TO HELP THEM wearing jeans and a tee shirt. #Salute |

RE:
It's now nearing two months into 2015 and I have a question for you.
- What have you got to show for it? If your answer is nothing, you have a serious problem and need to re-read this thread as well as the "Get your shit together" thread. I'd say it's time for a quick re-evaluation of how you are managing your time and what you are focusing on. My year is going exactly as planned. I have knocked out two new niche projects from concept to completion as well as opened another satellite office since Jan 1. All three will continue to generate cash flow for the long term future without much effort from me. Well, the satellite set-up will obviously take more time, hand holding and effort, but it will also produce more fruit for that effort. I did initially expect to get it going this past summer so I am behind my schedule a bit on it, but it really does not matter. It's better than NOT doing it. Roadblocks? Eh, go around them, dig under them, smash through them, jump the hell over them or talk, walk or buy your way out of them. |

RE:
You keep talking about WSO's. What about every other bullshit product out there. Iv filled my HD with shit, almost maxed out my SSD and not one, repeat not one of these products has worked as advertised.

This thread isn't about products, it's about focus, info overload, productivity, time management and about getting your shit together so you avoid the exact problem you have. You have a maxed out hard drive yet blame all the products? - Hmm, that sorta says a lot about the real source of the problem. Chasing after more money making products = shiny object syndrome. I find it hard to believe you actually gave a single product a solid run and test though. Sounds like you have a focus problem, exactly what this thread is about. Read it, use the resources provided, focus on ONE thing and make it work. Sounds like you spend more time reading about and downloading products than actually using them. Easy trap to fall into, but it's also an easy trap to get out of. Awareness is a huge jump in the right direction, my friend. |
