RE:
"It’s all about action – it doesn’t matter how much you know or what you can do. I only knew how to do one thing at that time. I was 110% sure I could write content and especially – sales copy – like no other human alive.
Almost all those books NC has posted? I downloaded them during the day or checked them out at the library. I would read a lot of them for as long as my battery would hold-up at night. I wrote in dozens of spiral notebooks about my thoughts and what I was going to do with all the gold in those books. Some of them I had already read, but I still read lots of the books and resources he has posted today and again, but the difference is: I put everything I learned to work! I do not believe in wasted thought or action and neither should you." There are some important things said by Quasar in the above lines. NO, it's NOT EXACTLY all about action. It is ALSO about KNOWLEDGEABLE and EXPERIENCED action. Notice how much Quasar practiced and studied, too. But notice also a critical phrase, "I do not believe in wasted thought or action." Putting it together the right way is the REAL challenge. Here is information about the best book/knowledge for doing that, WITHOUT DOUBT. Your Best Year Yet! by Jinny Ditzler. Read the Amazon reviews and you will see what I am saying. Nearly EVERYBODY testified that the process made a huge change in their lives. There is no digital copy of the book that I could find, but you do not need need it. You need three hours or so and go through this very effective goal setting process. DO IT. Then APPLY IT. Go to bestyearyet.com and sign up for FREE. Then complete their one-page plan. One more IMPORTANT piece of knowledge: Find at least one other person you can trust and team up with. It is not just about YOU, it is also about ecology (competition for resources.) Collaboration can be a big competitive advantage. However, finding a synergetic team is not easy. [Check out kolbe.com.] Good luck all. |

RE:
Be careful about getting side tracked. - Living Your Best Year Ever by Darren Hardy is already in the "Get Your Shit Together" pack.
In fact, everything you need is in that pack. Just get it, use it and get focused. I personally think goal setting for a large majority of people is about as useful as resolutions for the most part, but that's just me. If you do set a goal, the best way to achieve it is to break it down into chunks and reverse engineer the steps. Not many people do this and it's why so many don't reach the goals they set for themselves. Simpleology is a great resource and tool for doing just that. Magic Button : Again though, be careful about getting sidetracked. |

RE:
I think the below products should definitely be studied if you want to make habits. I found it after burning alot of my time searching for quality advice.
Here are high quality products to make habits and End Procrastination. 1.) You can get "The Procrastination Cure" by Wendy Hart at the below links, it's an excellent course, pay her if you can... Code: http://gpss12.s3.amazonaws.com/wh/02_Procrastination_Cure_Workbook.pdf The new habit should be only 30 seconds to 1 minute long. This is an ingenious idea to actually put yourself in action. To create a new tiny habit link it to an existing habit that you do every day. Example: You decide to do one push up every day. Connect it to an existing habit. AFTER you do the existing habit then do the new habit. Example: After I brush my teeth in the morning I will do 1 push up. Donot rely on motivation and motivational books and gurus. Motivation is temporary, unreliable and a deceptive lie. Focus on creating Mini habits. 3.) Caroline Arnold - Small Move, Big Change: Using Microresolutions to Transform Your Life Permanently (book) 4.) Hal Elrod - The Miracle Morning . In summary this book says that you can get out of depression, multiply your income and have success in your life if you put the effort is making it a habit to get up at 5 am in the morning and spend few minutes sitting in the peace and silence of the morning, do journaling, set few easy goals and do light exercise. Dont try to do all these things the first day. Try to sleep a 10 pm at night and get up at 5 am in the morning. Do it 1 by 1 in mini habits style Make small habits that you can easily do every day. Do only 1 thing. Become expert of only 1 thing that is actually effective in achieving that which you really want. Best Wishes, |

RE:
Thanks for all this pushing-forward-words, I fell in love with every line!
I randomly found this forum and I HAVE to stay, so many positive mindsets and similar goals in one place. I didn't see this for a long time. I'm from germany and I learned that my strivings the last years were not even close to result success. I have so many talents and skills and wasted too much time - like a lot of us did. This is OVER NOW! TIME TO USE THE TALENT AND THE BRAIN. I don't want to be ending up running past my old dreams and goals while others reach their goals. NO MORE. GAME TIME! |

RE:
Some of the PM's I get are funny. "more more more"
Look... And again, keep in mind what I said - You don't need anything other than those two simple books posted in the 1st post and to take action. You don't need more planning or motivational books, more courses or more advice on how to get started. Just get started and focused. Use the pomodoro technique and build your habits. That's it. Nothing more. Don't make it any more difficult than that. Well, unless you want to be overwhelmed and bog yourself down, which looks like a lot of people on here actually do want. imo - that's just another excuse to NOT get shit done. |

RE:
Liked the video in the first post, really gets you pumped up.
This also works for me, have it on my screen to see everyday.... The biggest issue I had (sometimes still have) is not being sure which project (SEO, PPC, CPA, Amazon, FB etc.) is worth investing time/money in and is going to be successful. Well I finally figured it out.... NO ONE CAN TELL YOU THAT, regardless of what all the guru's tell you because EVERYONE brings something different and unique to each business venture or project. Yes, they can give you a blueprint to start with and some valuable info (as we all know from this site), but YOU have to start! So in other words, or what all of the previous posts have been saying is......to just DO IT, select ONE THING, focus on that one thing and take ACTION on it. If it works, great, bank the money and scale it up and then and only then move on to the next project. If it doesn't work, try tweaking it, testing different approaches and if that doesn't work, chalk it up as a failed venture, dust yourself off, learn from the experience and move on to the next project. That is really the ONLY way you are going to become successful, through the age old maxim of trial and error, as book learning can only take you so far. Or as they say, you can't learn to swim by reading about it in a book. You just have to get in the water and start moving your arms and legs... Well, we will see just how well I take my own advice (and everyone else's that has posted on this thread) as I plan on taking massive action to make 2015 my best year yet! Sh#t, now I REALLY have to get to work since I made this very public statement. |

RE:
Excellent image, mthomas.
Multi-tasking to a point is fine, as long as you are doing what works and dropping what doesn't. I also think multi-tasking is a skill that works magically for some, but is a disaster for others. After all, everyone isn't the same. Like I've said from the start - Test, revise, test again. Scale what works and punt that crap that doesn't. Or at least shelve it for another time in the future when you can experiment with it and it wont take your time away from things that are currently critical and important. And yes, only you know what works for your unique situation. In fact, I'd say that if you are going along with a crowd and making some money, I wouldn't expect it to last. It's likely to get saturated and eventually simply diluted and dry up. One thing I see consistently all over this forum: A whole lot of "endless" learning. So, when will you learn enough to get started? (that's a trick question) I'd say get your shit together and solid income going to cover your basic necessities like rent, utilities, food etc. THEN start playing with other income streams. Everything after your basics is play time. |
