I'm sorry there has been an update. The book I had promoted through KDP Select put me number 38 in the kindle rankings. I have to do a more detail report soon...

NEW UPDATE !!!
I have a confession.... this forum has spoil me without a doubt ... I recently learned that I have a shit load of more knowledge than a lot of my peers who don't... Don't get me wrong I love that but I just realize a lot ... so with that being said here's an update ...
The Kindle book I wrote did fairly well actually ... It was an erotica , around 13,000 words. I ran a promotion for two days and got a paid ranking of #38 for two days actually! :D Pretty happy about that .... but here was my problem ... I uploaded the wrong cover .... that killed my extra downloads and extra sales ...seriously ...and another thing i notice there's money in fiction ... I wish I would've screenshot it ...
So after experimenting with that ... I went and wrote a lot of short stories mostly around the 5000 word mark ... that's another reason I haven't updated this .. I been writing my ass off ... All the stories are erotica .. i went this route because of previous sucess... and another thing I notice as well... the more books you have no matter what genre ...AMAZON will push people to buy them ...
lets say you have a series of books .. about 13 in a series with one bundle ... amazon will give you a better placement off that alone than someone with two books... I notice the more stories I publish the more sales are taking off more quickly ...its really a numbers game..
So two things I notice ....
Amazon favors series and also the d*** book cover you biggest selling point ...point blank period !
Write a series of books and also get a dope cover design it helps greatly ?

Alright new update !
I started a writing thread on the warrior forum got a couple review articles to write. No sales just started yesterday that I need to promote. Also I started a wso with an oto and guess whats its about. Yes writing for kindle... as you recall I wrote an original guide on the subject, its here on the board somewhere. Now I done upgraded the method. If you want to read it ... its here and its original. So I been plotting out a whole 600 page book that I'm going to start writing and release date before the summer. I also have a good bit of short stories wrote ...need better covers. BOOK Covers are more important than the title. A d*** good book cover can guarantee you sales. So I need to find a better designer as i'm decent but not professional when it comes to that.
Also developing my first game :D its a platformer ! This taking me some time as I have to go and relearn coding. I knew html/css I had to learn javascript and c++ ( C++ was said to be one of the hardest to learn and I somewhat agree shit )
But there will be a game making guide when I learn it and get it down pact. also I notice that content marketing is stillllll kang bitches ! :) Learn to write ! Wellllllll !
Today all about gathering myself ... for more sleepless nights.... its rest time
and also I got to meet with my teacher for Tai chi pratice !
all in all I have a pretty busy day with all this ! Stay tune for another update on my kindle book . this time I will take a screen shot of its chart position and tell you exactly what I did to rank within the top 50 on kindle....haven't made it to the best seller yet! But I will.
on second thought ... short stories , and novellas hardly ever become a best seller

Okay I haven't ran another promotion on my kindle books and I'm writing the sales letter for my sales thread today . I have to finish this today. I'm not going an extra day trying to get this establish. After that its game coding.
There are numerous ways to get it done " game coding " I choose the route which I eventually will travel down. This isn't something I want to just up and do. Its something I plan to make a career out of !
So pay attention to what you are doing. Understand your motives, and find your own resolve in matters. Set goals and strive to reach them. ! That's all I have to say. Short write ... Just paid for a warrior forum thread and its approve. Also wrote my sales letter, have to design it to make it visual better. Finish writing another plot for a book I was working on. So all in all I'm taking a break from all this ...also I will be uploading the exact game books I learn to design games in. I'm still learning the in's and out of coding but its coming along nicely!
not much of an update but the holidays are here and so are my family ... plus I have an all day training session tomorrow.... lord my body is going to be hurting
