I did try the method as explained and found 2 keywords and tried to rank for them
It works. Both page 1 on Google.
If u use the method as explained you CAN rank for low (very low) competitive keywords over night but you have to ask yourself.... is it worth it?
Is it worth to rank for keywords with 50 searches/month or even 100 searches/month if have to put a certain amount of time in it to rank them?
So i started thinking outside the box - what every marketeer should do these days.
What if i could use this method to find keywords that have 1k+ searches/month with low competition and are a little harder to rank for but use it with this:
-Use the method explained here to find keywords with 1k+ searches/month (maybe not fully untapped but low competition)
-Find a good product to promote
-Make a 30 sec+ video about the product
-Use IFTTT to rank the video
-Add about 20 STRONG social bookmarks
-Page 1 within 48 hours, every time
If you find 10 keywords with 1k searches/month that you know you can rank for that means a total of 10k searches/month, right? So try to find 10 keywords with 1k+ searches/month that you can rank for on ONE subject. There you go, you have a total of 10k searches/month about your subject and you are on page 1.
Try it!

Great idea...with video, conversions are inevitably going to be higher. I'd suggest making higher quality videos though that last longer than 30 seconds, i.e. stay away from those quick and dirty Animoto style videos, as those not only tend to get flagged, but also get noticeably lower conversions as well.
Does anyone here have the buyerkeywordchecklist.xlsx and SEO Cheat Sheet.pdf files? The original links seem to be down now.

Thanks so much! Please let us know how things turn out with your Tube Commando strategy. What type of affiliate videos do you plan on creating, by the way?
This is by far the best thread I have came across in a long time. I know for a fact this makes things clear to me again. Last year when I was about to go after niche websites I was turned off by all of the google updates. Now I am ready to tackle BIG G head on with this new improved technique. Of course I am adding my own little twists to this SEO puzzle, but I feel with the sites I have already built and adding this new twist to things I should be at my goals in no time.
1. Grab a main keyword to rank for and make sure to have at least 10 other sub keywords for articles.
2. All of my articles will have the keyword plus a few supporting keywords incorporated into them.
3. I will snag a good pic and create a video for each article.
4. I will make sure to add at least one outgoing link to a respected site.
5. Then index and throw very little backlinks at it.
Last: Add any related affiliate product and adsense ads to it.
All-in-all this has got me excited to build websites once again.
Thanks a ton for taking the time to share your experience. Great to hear you're seeing success.
Haven't fully gone through the PDF yet but so far it seems similar to dream niches from Alex Becker (as others have stated before, too). I ran into 2 problems with these strategies:
1. Like with becker's "naruto shippuden" example, you're never going to find out about this keyword unless you're lucky or know the niche well. Same here in his keyword research checklist: "Determine a popular and related keyword that does not show up in the results (but should)"
2. Most of these high traffic and low competition keywords were things like celebrity names and other stuff you can't monetize easily. Still haven't figured this one out.
Did you run into the same issues here? If so, how did you deal with them?
I agree, I rather have a 1k searches keyword and build a few links for it than rank on the first page in 2 seconds for a 2 searches/m keyword.
Thanks for the tubebacklink commando tip though from watching a video about it, seems like using something as senuke etc. would do the trick, too.
