I do this all the time with my ecommerce builds etc. works great and provides all the SEO value you need as well.

I did something similar. I installed 2 related clone sites a in subdirectory of my new domain. I then created a simple black html index page with image links to the clone site. I can do all my seo through the index page and further develop the html pages to include new article content etc.

Max reps to you both, is this something a newbie could do? I've always wanted to use the clonesites, as they look very well done. Do they come with step by step instructions? The above ideas sound very good, and it would give me a chance to use my amazon affiliate account, that's what monetizes these, right? Thanks for any response.
